It was Parents-Teacher meeting day and Fuyumi was there to attend. At first she was surprised to see Kirishima there but she decided not to ponder on, knowing about Yaeka's background.

When the meeting ended and as Kirishima was about to leave, three women called out to him and chatted to him for awhile. Fuyumi couldn't help but let out a silent laugh at their conversation.

Knowing that Fuyumi was there as well, Kirishima couldn't help but sigh inwardly. I wanna go home...

One topic did caught Fuyumi's attention though: it was Yaeka's birthday that's coming up. I wonder does Reina-chan knows.

As they left the building together, Fuyumi and Kirishima saw Reina and Yaeka were squatting by some flowerpots admiring them.

"Little lady. Sorry to keep you waiting."

"Kirishima."

"Aunt Fuyu!"

Fuyumi chuckled before she held Reina's hand and faced the other two. "It was nice seeing you again, Kirishima-kun, Yaeka-chan. We'll best be on our way now."

"Yes, it was nice to see you again, Fuyumi-san. Be safe on the way back." Kirishima bowed a little.

Even though Fuyumi told him to drop the formalities with her, Kirishima couldn't help but feel that this is a must, like whenever he talks with the Sakuragi Head.

"Thank you, Kirishima-kun. See you again, Yaeka-chan."

"Bye bye, Yae-chan!"

"Bye bye."

And with that, the two headed to car that was waiting for them near the school gates. As they were walking, Fuyumi asked her niece, "Reina-chan, do you know that Yaeka-chan's birthday is coming up?"

When she asked this, Reina felt like the whole universe had betrayed her as she looked at her aunt in huge shocked.

Guess she didn't. Fuyumi sweat-dropped.

Before she can say any further, Reina let go of her hand and ran back inside the school grounds. This of course, shocked and worried the older lady. "Reina!"

Hearing the shout, Kirishima and Yaeka turned only to see Reina running towards them in full speed.

"What the..."

"Yae-chan!"

"Y-yes?" The girl spluterred out when Reina stood right in front of her before catching a few of her breaths.

"Is it true your birthday is coming up?!"

"H-huh? Yea, it is."

"Why didn't you tell me?!" Reina whined as she dragged the letter 'e'. "I thought we're friends!"

Surprised at this, Yaeka didn't know how to answer her.

"Well, no worries! Now that I know, as your best friend, I'm going to give you the best gift ever!" Reina exclaimed proudly.

"Really?"

"Hehehe yep! Not sure what to choose yet though." Reina mumbled the last part to herself.

"Reina! Oh my gosh!" Fuyumi was seen running towards the three with a worried look. "What did I tell you about running off? Thank goodness we're still inside the school compound. But what if you fell? Oh no..."
