MARCH 24th, 1982.
📍: LONDON, ENGLANDAURORA, ERIC AND LOUISE HAD JUST SAT DOWN in the restaurant, greeted by their waitress, Eliza. They were sat at a table of four, Eric and Louise were sat next to each other, and Aurora was sat across from them. Her aunt and uncle had ordered a wine, and a glass of water respectively, and she ordered herself a glass of Coca-Cola.
Music was quietly playing in the background, her aunt and uncle had told her a few things about the restaurant, although, they were mainly just talking about how much they love the food. Aurora skimmed over the menu, briefly, it was a Greek restaurant, they didn't mention that before; but she wasn't complaining, she loved Greek food. The Lamb Kleftiko, caught her eye. She didn't really know what that was, but everything was worth a try, right?
The waitress, Eliza, had brought their drinks over, and sat them down in front of them, "Are you ready to order? Eric, who's this?"
The three of them looked at each other, and nodded, as to confirm that they were all ready to order, Eric took charge for himself and Louise, "Can we have a Chicken Atillo, and the Beef Stroganoff, please. This is our niece, Aurora, she's going to be staying with us for a while. Aurora, have you decided what you want?""
She nodded, and smiled at the waitress, who was stood waiting to see what she wanted, "Uh- the Lamb Kleft- I'm sorry, I don't know how to say that second word. But it's nice to meet you... Eliza." Aurora laughed, and pointed at what she wanted on the menu, also squonted her eyes to get a look at her new badge. The waitress turned her head up in realisation, when she heard Aurora's American accent, and jotted down what she wanted.
"Kleftiko, my dear.. And you too, what a polite girl." Eliza, who was an older woman, perhaps in her 40s, corrected Aurora. She walked away from the table, also taking their menus away.
Aurora took a sip of her Coca-Cola, through the straw that came with it. Louise and Eric were in conversation. She looked at her surroundings, almost going into a dazed, and daydream state. The red carpet.. and the white walls. There was also a pillar right in front of her view, even Louise and Eric didn't bother to look what was behind it, until the heard a voice. She poked her head around, but was met with nothing, aside from a rather large DJ booth, and a dance floor.
She turned her head back, to Louise and Eric, both of whom were already looking at her, "In a little bit of a daydream, Rory?" Her aunt asked, which caused Rory to shake her head.
"No, I was just looking around. Interesting interior.. also, you never mentioned this was a Greek restaurant." She stated, and she swore she saw Louise and Eric's faces go pale.
"Do you not like Greek food?"
"I love it! Are you kidding? It's my favourite cuisine." Aurora smiled.
"Oh good, I thought you were about to say that you didn't like it." Eric chimed in, sitting his water down. He wasn't drinking tonight, because he was designated driver, but at least Louise could treat herself.

The food was heaven. Eric and Louise weren't lying. This might be the best Greek food she's ever had in her life up until that point. Although, she wasn't sure anything was going to beat it. She ate her Lamb Kleftiko, piece by piece, and it just kept getting better. Unaware of the brunette boy, who had just walked past her, and walked over to the DJ booth.
Louise and Eric looked like they were enjoying their food too, but she learned that this was their usual dishes, and she believed, if she ever came here again, this Lamb Kleftiko would be hers.
