"Didi!" a boy of the age of 28 was calling her sister.
"Dyuti Didi" he called again pulling her hair gently.
"Kya hua Ankit Bhaiya?" Dyuti asked kissing his cheeks.
"Good night, didi" he smiled and kissed her cheeks.
Dyuti put her brother to bed. He has Down Syndrome. And they had each other only.
Dyuti went to her room and closed her room. She received a call and seeing the person her eyes widened with fear. She took the call.
"He-Hell-Hello" She said, fear visible in voice.
"Dove!" the voice so husky called from the other end, "What's your decision?"
"I accept the marriage offer Karan!" She said trembling as tears flowed through her eyes, "Please don't hurt my brother!"
"Good, Dove" he said and Dyuti already imagined a smirk on his face.
"I will tell you the wedding date and preparations, and one more thing!" he paused and Dyuti's breathing became erractic, "don't try to run away!"
The call ended and Dyuti ran to her bed, dug her face into the pillow and sobbed.
"Why did you leave us papa?" Dyuti asked looking at her father's picture.
Dyuti cried and remembered how that monster became a part of her life.
15 YEARS BACK
Dyuti was in 6th grade. She was walking through the corridor.
"Oyee! Dew Drops!" Dyuti froze at a voice behind her.
She turned around to see her first love in front of her.
"What do you want Karanji?" She asked.
"Go get us a samosas for all of us!" Karan pointed out to his best friends.
"But you can go and get it right?" She asked and Karan slapped on her face.
"YOU DARE QUESTION KARAN DESAI! I WILL SHOW YOU!" he roared and dragged her to an empty classroom.
He pushed her and ripped her uniform.
"Damn! Dew Drops! You look hot!" he smirked and leaned and kissed her.
Dyuti kicked him and ran outside the classroom. She to went to her best friend, Avinash and he was with his girlfriend, Maya. Maya liked Dyuti a lot.
Dyuti entered the room where Avinash and Maya were making out. At first both of them groaned but after seeing her condition Maya wrapped her hands around her and started consoling her.
Avinash went outside and brought her new set of uniform.
From then on, Dyuti avoided that monster. Although he used to bully her, he did something out of hand that day.
BACK TO PRESENT
Dyuti opened her eyes and she got a call from that heartless monster.
"Hello!" She said wiping her tears.
"Come! We have to select the wedding lehenga!" he said and cut the call.
Dyuti changed and went downstairs. She came down and saw that monster, or should she say a Greek God?
Dyuti silently entered the car, and looked ahead, her eyes on the road. They reached the shop and as time went by everything around seemed to stop
"Now you are husband and wife!" The priest said and Dyuti smiled, hiding all her sorrows.
AT THE DESAI'S MANSION
Dyuti tried calling Vikram and as he picked up she wanted to tell about what happened and then a hand snatched the phone and horror visible in her face.
"You did a wrong thing, dove!" he said smirking, "Be ready for punishment"
