𝐥𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯 -

Wednesday went to go sit down again, but Enid grabbed some sort of remote, playing a song loudly. she started dancing to the song, I sent her a look but she ignored me again, continuing to dance. "Turn that off" Wednesday said as she looked over to the blonde girl, but she continued dancing anyways.

"This is your final warning." She said as she walked back over. Enid's claws came out quickly and she roared at Wednesday, Wednesday just looked at her claws, and back at her. "Don't mess with me. This kitty's got claws, and I'm not afraid to use them." Enid responded as the song was still playing in the background.

She quickly paused the song as Ms. Thornhill walked in, hiding her hands behind her back as her and Wednesday turned to face Ms. Thornhill. I giggled a bit quietly, picking up Salem as he re-appeared, and placing him on my lap. "Good evening, girls! Oh, sorry about the mud. I wanted to make sure that Wednesday was, settling in" The red-headed woman said as she closed the door behind her. Her red boots left a little bit of almost dried mud as she stepped forward on the creaky, wooden floor.

She held a pot, which had a black flower in it. She smiled, looking at the floor as she noticed black duct tape on the floor, separating the two girl's sides of the room. She placed one red boot on Wednesday's side and the other on Enid's before looking back up and smiling again.

"Ah, is this a bad time?" She asked Wednesday and Enid as they sent each other small glances. Ms. Thornhill walked towards the two of them. "I'm Ms. Thornhill, your dorm mom. Apologies I wasn't here to greet you when you arrived" she apologized to Wednesday before looking at Enid. "I trust Enid has given you the old Nevermore welcome" she continued, smiling at Enid and looking back at Wednesday.

Enid smiled a bit, then Wednesday began to talk. "She's been smothering with hospitality. I hope to return the favor.. in her sleep." Wednesday said with the same monotonous voice. Enid's smile quickly faded as she slowly turned her head to look at Wednesday. Ms. Thornhill brushed it off, smiling again at Wednesday. "Well, here's a little welcome gift from my conservatory. I try to match the right flowers to each of my girls, and when I read your personal statement in your application, I immediately thought of this one." She said, smiling at her and gesturing to the flower.

"The black Dahlia" Wednesday said, looking down at the flower. "oh, you know it?" Ms. Thornhill said, a little surprised. "of course, it's named after my favorite unsolved murder." she responded, looking up at Ms. Thornhill again. "thank you." she said after a quick pause.

"Okey-dokey. Well, before I leave, I want to go over a few house rules. Lights off at 10:00, no loud music, and no boys, ever" She said, smiling and shaking her head as she said the rule about no boys. "What's the story about going into the local town?" Wednesday questioned her.

"Passes to Jericho are a privilege, not a right. It's a brisk 25-minute walk, or there's a shuttle on the weekends. The locals are a tad bit..wary, about Nevermore, so please, don't go making any waves or perpetuating any.. outcast stereotypes. That means keep your claws to yourself and no smothering people in their sleep. Are we clear?" she said, wanting to make sure that the two understood. "Great talk!" she continued, smiling and waving before walking out and closing the door behind her.
