It was beautiful, but was also used to force his queen to watch the destruction of a place that she held dear. Though she was still glaring at him at the moment after that night of "fun" that she had with him last night.
"How did you sleep last night?" Clouse said with a mocking gesture. Kai didn't say anything which only made him sigh. She probably hated him more than ever for that punishment...though he had more pressing matters to attend to.
"Beta, it's time." Clouse said as a female cat slowly walked up to him and bowed. As she started to leave, Kai noticed that she was carrying a sword behind her.

At the same time, Ray and Maya were working in their shop when they felt like something bad was going to happen.
"Ray..." Maya started to say before an huge explosion was heard near the center of town. The pair rushed over to see what was happening and saw the destruction around him. To make things worse, the corpses of innocents were also spread all over the place.
"What in the...." Ray started to say before someone walked out of the crater. It was looked like a humanoid cat with a stoic expression on her face. The sight of her caused the pair's blood to freeze since they were told about the invasion on that poor town.
