"Hey, little sis?" Taylor called out as Gracelynn  stirred from her sleep, her pale blonde-teal hair slightly disheveled as she looked up. "Hm?" The Korean fox girl tilted her head to the side. "Where did you get that rose?" He pointed to the flower she got after her performance. She smiled softly and sat up. "I got it after I came home from my performance last night.. whoever gave me that flower left me a really sweet note too!" She then handed her half-brother the note as he read it.

"I see.. whoever did that saw you shaking like a leaf on the stage and realized they didn't like it when you got scared because of what happened to you when we were kids." Her brother said to her as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. "Maybe.. but.. what about Elias, the guy you came with last night?" She seemed to have a theory as slowly blooming trust began to blossom inside of her chest for some strange reason. "Him? Nah, he knows better than to stalk a lady like yourself, sis." She bit her lip in thought, something she often did when she was thinking.

"You're right.. I'm probably overthinking it. Now shoo, I need to get myself decent." She said, waving her hand at him as he grinned. "Sure thing, little sister~" he then dodged a pillow that was thrown at him as he cackled, leaving a pouting Gracelynn. The curtains were closed as she quickly tied on a yellow robe with green accents, going over to her window which was covered with the mentioned curtains.

Slipping her fingers into the crevice created, she pulled the pieces of light teal away, causing the bright sunlight to be revealed. The woman covered her face with her hand as she was still waking up, blinking twice as she walked away from the windows and slid her hands underneath the sleeves of her nightgown. A few minutes later, Gracelynn was clad in a dark yellow jewel-toned dress with an prairie skirt, a keyhole neckline and bell sleeves. Her hair was into a braid with a small golden headband with a single green gemstone decorating it.

She walked downstairs to where her brother was and wrapped her arms around him, hands resting on his chest. "Your not wearing teal today?" Taylor asked, staring at his little sister in disbelief at her not wearing her usual color. "No. Because I finally realized something, Tay.."

"And what is it, Grace?"

She smiled softly, her almost black eyes meeting her brother's brown ones.

"That not all people want me just for my body and instead, want me for me.. the person who sent me the rose proved me that."

Her gaze turned soft, blinking away glassy orbs since this was the actual first time that a person wanted her for her and not for her body. It made her feel so many emotions at the same time yet it made a warmth grow inside of her chest at the thought of finding that person that actually LOVED her.. moving away from her brother, Gracelynn made herself a bowl of kimchi jjigae as she added some sides.

She added kongnamul, makguksu noodles, bibimbap, and, gyeran jjim, also known as steamed egg custard, something she remembered her mother eating sometimes when she wasn't hunting. As she ate, she began to think about Elias, the man who had been with her brother at last night's show. Placing her empty plates and bowl into the washer, she activated it and went into her writing room to write down her newest song for the next night's show.

Taking out a cyan blue pen with a matching gem on the top, she began writing the lyrics for her next song. Her heart was pounding so fast and she clicked her pen closed before leaning back into her chair, closing her eyes. That man filled her mind like termites in a log the minute they locked eyes with each other that night. "Damn you, Elias.. you're making me feel so many things.." she swore she could hear her heartbeat in her ears and her breath growing heavy.. what was this she was feeling? Was she dying?!

As she was thinking that, parts of her fox side began to be revealed. Orange and white pointed fox ears appeared along with tan paws. She turned into a beautiful orange and white nine-tailed fox, a kumiho which hailed from Korea. As the fox walked around, trying to gain back control, more thoughts of Elias appeared in her mind's eye as she whimpered. Gracelynn hopped on top of the red small sofa and curled up onto a gray pillow, placing her head onto her paws. The only thing she could do was wait until she could turn back into a human.

She gave the occasional whimper as she closed her eyes once more to try to sleep it off but more of those strange thoughts filled her mind once more as she growled. She didn't understand.. what was going on with her?! Why was she acting like this?!? Lids fell over almost black eyes as she attempted once more to try to sleep off the effects of her transformation from a human into a nine-tailed fox. That was then Gracelynn realized something.. she was in love?! No, that couldn't be! Not after what happened to her..

She shook her head to get rid of those thoughts and flipped herself onto her back, her paws in the air. Her left ear twitched as she sighed softly and annoyingly since her thoughts wouldn't shut off. She hated when she was lost in her thoughts since they often managed to spill over and cloud her mind. As she turned back into a human, she made her decision. She chose to wait and see what happens now that she finally gained back her control over her forms.

She decided to see what may happen in the future due to her painful past.
