"Jin, I'm going to die," Kenzie panted.
He chuckled a bit as he held her hand, "you aren't going to die, you've done this before."
"Not helping," she groaned.
Kelly looked at her best friend and her ridiculous husband, "I'm not sure how Joon or Kenzie deals with you. They must be saints."
Jin shrugged. "It's the handsome face; it draws everyone in."
Kenz snorted before she cried out in pain, "don't make me laugh asshole, this hurts you know."
Kelly went to smack Jin, but he rolled away on the little stool, "Hey, I'm a disabled veteran. You can't hit me, that's like, I'm sure against the law or something."
"It's not, I checked," she cheeked as she smacked him upside down. She achieved which in turn made him pout like she hurt him, she knew she didn't, he's just the world's most giant baby. "Don't whine; London does enough of that for everyone."
"I am a grown ass man, I do not whine."
"You do, too, but I love you regardless."
"When do I whine?"
"You whined to Jungkook for three hours because the first round of LED lights failed to work."
He pouted like a toddler who just had his candy taken away. "I was so excited and then they didn't even turn on."
"It was his first try, Seokjin; he told you he didn't know what he was doing. And yet, when it failed the first time, you acted like it was the end of the world."
His impossibly broad shoulders dropped a bit. "Yoongi talked it up like it would work, and I got all excited. I know it's dumb, but I." His eyes started to glisten with tears. "I don't regret saving him, and I never will. I'd rather have Tae than legs, but sometimes I feel like if I have really cool legs that light up, I'll feel more like myself."
She tried to pretend that she wasn't in active labor because her husband needed her right now. Kenz reached over and squeezed his hand. "I think you'd look really cool with light-up prosthetic legs or hot pink glittered-out legs. Anything really, give it time. You know Jungkook, and he'll figure it out. It may take him a bit, but he'll get it eventually. You'll have the coolest legs on the Island by the time he's done."
"I will, won't I? Everyone will be so jealous of my cool legs."
"They will," she gritted out with her teeth clenched.
"Oh shit," he gasped, "Ilsan."
Kenz snorted, "Yes, Ilsan, your son has been trying to come into this world for the past 15 minutes, but you've been having a meltdown, so I've been trying to ignore it."
"I'm sorry, baby," he whispered to the belly that was contracting as he left small kisses all over it. "You can come out now. Your Daddy is so excited to meet you, and so are your big brother and sister. Well, one of your big sisters, the littlest big sister, is kind of on the fence, but with time, she'll love you."
"She's going to hate him so much; I can already see it." She needed to push so badly, but she wanted this last moment with Jin—the moment before the chaos of having a new baby. They never had a time when it was just the two; Jin met her when she already had two kids. So they stole any time together that they could. "I love you."
"And I love you," he looked up from her belly, "so so much."
Kelly groaned, "You two are sickening, I swear. I thought Joon and I were bad, but you two take the fucking cake."
"Yah, I love my wife, and you act like that's such a bad thing," Jin yelled with no anger.
She rolled her eyes before pushing him out of the way, "I'm going to go get the Doctor before he tries to deliver this baby himself."
"I could, you know, I've seen her do it enough."
"Yeah, yeah," she mumbled as she left the room.
Thirty minutes later, Jin was holding a blue blanket with his son wrapped up in it. "My beautiful boy, look at you." He looked at his wife, "I think he might have red hair like Kel."
She was so tired, even though it was a relatively short birth, it's still a birth and that shit is rough. It's like having your insides torn out and then shoved back inside you. And right after, you are expected to bounce back and care for the world's most needy things: your husband and a newborn.
Jin smiled as he kissed her forehead, "Sleep, I got him."
Their friends showed up one by one while Kenz slept, Jimin squealed as soon as he saw him, "oh my god he's so precious," he looked at his husband, "I want one."
"Sure, let me go to the store and order one," Yoongi scoffed.
"We could always adopt. There are still babies that need homes; come on, we'd be such good parents." Jimin was pouting and begging, and it made Jin want to puke and grin at the same time.
But he was the hyung so he had to maintain the poker face, "well you can always babysit London, if you can handle that terror then you are certainly ready to be parents."
"Deal," Jimin yelled before slapping his hand over his mouth and squeaking out a sorry voice when Kenz and Ilsan started moving around.
"Come on, Baby. Before we wake up the mother and baby, we'll swing by Kook's and pick up London. How does that sound?"
"Promise?"
"Promise," he whispered before kissing his husband'sforehead.
Jimin all but pushed him out of the room, making Jin grin. "You're setting them up for failure. London is going to eat them alive."
"I know it's great. Yoongi will cry on the phone before bedtime, and I can't wait."
"Why are you so mean to him? He's your oldest friend."
Jin shrugged, "he shouldn't have ignored all of my drones."
"You are still hung up on that."
"It was three months; he let me send those drones for three months."
