The Hair Tie

Prologue

You know how the rubber in hair ties can easily break, and then the hair tie itself is stretched out and becomes too big to fit around your wrist? It's only staying together because of the black fabric that holds it together.

And then it suddenly breaks.. And then you get a new one! But it's too tight to fit around your wrist, until you've stretched it enough times that it'll fit perfectly... And then the whole process starts all over again..

You know how anything can apply to life?

You know how life is a bitch?

OKAY, HEY GUYS. SO, NEW STORY?

I was actually really hesitant to post this.. I feel like I won't finish it. I hope I will though, but that depends on how motivated I am..

IT'S A WEIRD BOOK IDEA/CONCEPT, I KNOW, BUT TRUST ME, I THINK I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING. I THINK.

CRAPPY PROLOGUE, I KNOW. IT'S CONFUSING AND REALLY VAGUE, BUT THAT'S THE POINT! I DON'T WANT TO GIVE AWAY THE WHOLE POINT OF THE STORY IN THE BEGINNING. BUT MAYBE IT'S ALREADY OBVIOUS TO ALL OF YOU AND I'M JUST BEING STUPID. I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE CONFUSED! XD

Anyway, this idea came to me when I was at church. I usually don't pay attention during mass (I know, I'm a horrible Christian) and I was just playing with this hair tie that's been around my wrist for far too long. It was all stretched out because the rubber inside it had broke, so I was just playing with it. I started knotting it and stuff, like you know... I don't know how to explain the whole knotting thing, but I'm sure a lot of us have done it XD like, you loop it around itself and stuff... I hope you guys know what I mean haha. Anyway, I knotted it, and then I realized I couldn't unknot it as easily as I knotted it.

THEN BAM!

This book idea came to mind.

LOL, weird explanation, but I hope you give this book a shot :3
