The Bet (Levi X Reader)

Chapter 3: March

"Erwin's into (Y/n)," Hanji says to Levi once they're alone. Levi glances at her for a moment, before looking back down at his paperwork. "I know," he almost sighs out.

"How are you so calm about this? You've been pinning after this girl for a year," Hanji states, as she pouts. Levi shrugs, "I'm not worried about it,"

"Why? Have you seen Erwin?" She asks, "If she wants him she can have him. But... once I win this bet, she'll have no choice but to hang out with me, whether she's with Erwin or not," he says, rather calmly.

"Are you going to confess your feelings for her, as she is your personal assistant?" Hanji asks gleefully, as her eyes sparkle. Levi gives her a simple nod, and she squeals. Levi stands, and leaves his office, as Hanji continues to squeal, and ramble about future Ackerman babies.

You enter the mess hall, and spot Levi in the kitchen. He's making himself tea, when he feels someone behind him. "Hi shorty," you say softly and smirk, "Go away, brat," He mutters, you nod and sit on one of the stools in the kitchen as you watch him.

"What do you think of Erwin?" Levi asks, after several moments of silence, as he pour the boiling water into his cup. You shrug "I mean yeah. He's nice, and a good friend," Levi shakes his head. "That's not what I mean, do you have crush on him?" He asks, pulling the now dripping tea leaves from his cup.

You feel your cheeks grow hot "No," you simply say. "Then why are you blushing, like a teenager?" Levi asks turning around to face you, as he takes a sip of his tea, holding the cup by the rim.

"Because this is embarrassing," You pout at him. " Why?" He asks, pushing further. "Fuck, I'll get embarrassed if you ask me if I like, Eren, It's just who I am," You say glaring at him, Levi rolls his eyes, turns around, and pours himself more tea.

You stand up and walk up behind him, your hand hovering above his bicep. You want to touch him, but don't want to make him uncomfortable, so you don't. Instead you reach around him, and steal his teacup. "Thanks, Shorty," You say, as you kiss his cheek, and turn around and leave the kitchen, his cup of tea in your hand.

"So much for making him not feel uncomfortable," You mumble, as you take a sip of the tea in your hand. "Good tea, though," You smirk as you continue your way to your office.

Levi watches you walk away. "I was gonna drink that," he quietly whispers, before sighing and getting out another cup.

As you make your way to your room, you hear someone call your name, you turn around and smile at Erwin. You salute him, "Erwin," you greet. Erwin chuckles, as he walks closer to you. "I need to tell you something," He says, you shrug "Okay, what's up?" Erwin opens his mouth to speak, but someone runs into the hallway very loudly. You see Hanji sprinting down the hallway towards you and Erwin.

"(Y/N) AND LEVI SITTING IN A TREE, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" She shouts as she runs past the two of you, and grabs your had dragging you with her. "What the hell?" You ask, raising a brow at your best friend.
