The Bet (Levi X Reader)

Chapter 4: April

"No..no..no..no!" You say over-dramatically, Hanji enters the meeting room. "What..what..what..what?" She asks, and you grumble to yourself as you point at the chalkboard. "He's winning by ten, Hanji! Ten!" You scream.

"I see that," She chuckles, "Take me with you on your mission," You beg, dropping to your knees infront of her. Hanji shakes her head, "Fine, but you have to capture a titan for me," she sighs giving in to you.

You jump up and hug her tightly, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" you scream into her ear. Hanji giggles and pats your back.

The two of you return to HQ after her mission, you groan as you fling yourself onto the couch in the common room. "Hey, you okay, (Y/n)?" Erwin asks, as he was sitting in an arm chair reading a book. You smirk, "Besides almost being eaten, I managed to kill 14 titans while I was with Hanji on her mission," Levi then enters the room, "Wait what?" he asks, glaring at you from the doorway.

You stand up and march over to him, "I'm winning," you smirk. Levi glares at you, as you return the glare, your smirk never fading. "Are you guys okay?" Erwin asks, as he feels the tension between the two of you. "Fine," you both say in unison.

"What's going through that small brain of yours?" Levi asks, as the corner of his lips twitch. You narrow your eyes at him. "None of you're business you uh -- period cramp. Fuck that was a bad one, forget I said anything," You half-wave as you walk away, you hear something almost close to a chuckle come from Levi as you leave. A smile forming on your lips.

"Wow. Congratulations, you're up by four," Levi sarcastically says, "Yes I am, Bitch," you smirk at him.

"I thought it was period cramp?" He says raising a brow at you, you glare at him. "That was one fucking time."

"And I will forever drag it out," He smirks at you, "That's so unfair-" you cut yourself off with a groan. Levi raises a brow at you, as you cross your legs and lean against the table. "You suddenly have to take a piss or something?" He asks watching you, "No, I-" your words cut off again as you groan again.

"What's wrong?" He asks, "I'm fine," you say, glaring at him. "No you're not."

"Yes I am."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Ah, fuck fine, you win. I'm having period cramps," You finally tell him, heat rising to your cheeks out of embarrassment. Levi says nothing as he moves closer to you, "What?" you ask, as he keeps getting closer.

"I'll carry you," Levi shrugs. "I don't need you to carry me, I'm independent," You huff.

"Oh, believe me, I know you are," Levi says, you stand up straight and slouch your shoulders a bit. "You okay there?" He asks, raising a brow. "This is the only way I'm comfortable," You reply as you try to waddle away. "Okay, that's it," Levi says, following after you, and scooping you up into his arms.

"Eek-" You shriek as you are lifted into Levi's arms, your own arms wrapping around his neck as he leaves the room. "No, I don't need help, put me down. It's just a crAmP," You groan as Levi continues to carry you.

"Do you want me to take you to your bedroom?" He asks, "Yes please," you say softly as you hide your face in his neck. Ignoring the stares from other scouts as they pass you.

Once you reach your room, you expect Levi to put you down, but instead he opens your door passing through your office, and into your connected bedroom. He gently places you down on your bed, you cover yourself with your blankets, and roll away from him.

Levi sighs, and leaves. A few minutes later you hear your office door open. You look over and see Levi entering you room. He's holding pain killers, and water. "Levi, why?" You ask him, as he sets the item on your bedside table. "Because I'm kind and considerate," you snort at his words. "You are literally the meanest person around," You chuckle, before groaning as another wave of pain goes through your body.

"I'll bring you dinner once it's served," He says, turning around to leave you alone. "You're the best, I love you," He hears you whisper as he closes your bedroom door. Levi swears his heart skipped a beat, as he silently leaves your office. "I know," He whispers to himself as he enters his office, and shuts the door. A smile on his face, as he begins his paperwork.
