"Ready, brat?" Levi asks, as he walks into your office. You smile at him before standing from your desk chair and grabbing your jacket. "Yup, I'm ready," You reply, as you follow Levi out of your office and through the halls of HQ.

"What are we doing today?"

"They're having a flea market in Trost. Thought we'd go and look around," Levi shrugs. "You mean so you can get more cleaning supplies?" You ask, smirking. "Tch, no." Levi scoffs, grabbing your hand and lacing your fingers together.

"It's okay to tell me the truth. I love you and the truth won't change that," You say jokingly, as you giggle. "I know," He responds, wishing that you weren't joking about loving him.

Levi holds your hand as you two walk through the streets of Trost filled with vendors on each side. Even though you're not technically his, Levi still wants people to think that as he notices men checking you out as they walk by.

You don't mind holding Levi's hand, it's nice and comforting. It makes your heart beat faster knowing Levi isn't one for doing such things in public.

Spotting a vendor selling baked goods, you point it out to Levi before dragging him over to it. Your eyes sparkling as you look over the variety of baked goods, Levi watching you with a soft look on his face.

"Hello, what can I get for you today?" The lady behind the table greets, looking at Levi and not you. The lady trying to flirt with Levi, and laughing at jokes he never made, as he scowls in annoyance. "You're Levi right? Humanities Strongest?" She asks, battering her lashes at him.

Levi only sighs in response, not even glancing at the lady. "Do you like croissants? I baked some fresh this morning. On the house for you," She winks at Levi, your jaw tensing as you had stopped looking at the baked goods to glare at her.

Like what the fuck bitch?

You clear your throat, gaining her attention as the lady glares at you. Which only made you smirk at her as a result. "Come on, Levi. I don't see anything here that I want," You say, as Levi nods resuming holding your hand, as you begin to walk away. Quickly standing on your toes, you place a soft kiss to Levi's cheek, making his eyes widen.

The lady scoffs, and glares at you as you grin at her from over your shoulder. Continuing to walk through the streets of Trost, with Levi's hand in yours. The two of you look at many different vendors, and occasionally buying something.

Levi noticed a jewelry vendor, and glanced at you as you were looking at a few crystals placed on a table. "I'll be back," He says, making you nod as your focus was stuck on a (birthstone) that you held in your hand.

Making it quick, Levi walks over to the jewelry vendor, and glances around at the different items. "Hello, sir. See anything you like?" The man running the stand asks, as Levi's silver eyes latch onto a silver bracelet, with a flat metal piece that held the Scout Regiment wings encrusted with white and navy blue gems. "That," Levi says, pointing at it. The man smiles, before picking the bracelet up and putting it in a small black box.

"For someone special?" The man asks, smiling as Levi hands him the right amount of money. "Yeah, you could say that." Levi responds, his heart fluttering in his chest, as he takes the box containing the bracelet and turns around to meet back up with you.

"What'd you get?" You ask, as Levi abruptly stops, as you were standing right behind him. He can feel sweat trickle down the back of his neck. "Nothing, just some plain ring for Hanji." He replies, making an excuse.

"Hanji does love rings. I'm surprised you got her something," You smile, taking his hand. "Keeps her off my back," Levi sighs, internally glad you hadn't seen what he had gotten for you.

Leaving Trost, the two of you head to your offices to place your items away before meeting in the kitchen to drink tea together. The two of you sipped and talked about different things. "Erwin does not like me," You argue.

"Please," Levi scoffs, rolling his eyes. "I've seen the way he looks at you."

"And how does he look at me?" You ask, tilting your head.

Levi's quiet for a moment, as if debating to tell you or not, before deciding to just say it. "The way I look at you," He says, taking a sip of his tea to hide his flushed face. You fall silent, your heart racing in your chest.

"I still don't think Erwin likes me," You manage to get out after a moment. Levi shrugs, "Believe what you want, Brat," he huffs. The two of you falling silent again, your (e/c) eyes looking down at the cup of tea in your hands, as you sit on the kitchen counter.

"Levi?" You ask, quietly. He only hums, a request for you to continue. "Have you ever been in love?"

Levi's hand pauses half-way up to his mouth, as his thoughts race. Fuck, fuck, fuck. I'm not ready to tell her. I don't want things to become awkward. He thinks to himself, before answering. "No, I don't think so," He states. "What about you?"

"Once," You say quietly, as your eyes remain on your cup of tea in your hands. "When I was fifteen, there was a boy from my village. We hung out everyday, and eventually fell in love, but it didn't work," You sigh, raising your cup to your lips to take a sip.

"What happened?" Levi asks, his silver eyes watching you and observing the way your shoulders slouch. "He cheated a few times," You sigh, shrugging.

Levi, reaches over and places his hand on your knee, drawing circles with his thumb. "He's a dumbass," He says quietly.
