It was about 2 am when we finally got there. As I suspected the road was blocked off and it was about a 1 mile walk to the falls. I looked over at Erin with an annoyed face, but got out anyways. We grabbed our big lights out of the back of my big blue truck. I also grabbed a case of beer. I would probably be the only one drinking them because Erin refused to be bad and drink before she was 21. We headed up the hill and through the woods. I could feel a small breeze run up my arms as we walked. When we finally got there Erin took off her t shirt and shorts and threw them on the ground, then jumped into the cold water. When she came back up you could hear her take in a huge gulp of air. Her light brown hair was now slicked back and a few shades darker. She gave me the "oh my god what did I just do look," then smiled. I set the big lights up pointing down to the water so that no one could see them. After I set them up I took off my shirt and pants, then slowly made my way down to water. I put my foot into the ice cold water and then jumped in. Oh my god it was so cold, it felt like I was in an ice bath. She laughed at my terrified face and then made her way over to a little ledge under the waterfall and pulled herself up onto it. She motioned me to come over so I made my way over. We sat there under the water fall talking and laughing. After a few minuets she stood up and began to untie her suit. My eyes widened as I asked her, "um what in the hell are you doing?" She smiled at me while holding her bathing suit over her boobs, then said, "let's skinny dip." I told her hell no and she nodded and sat back down next to me. Suddenly she untied my suit and threw it into the water before I even had the chance to grab it. I looked at her while try to cover my boobs and said, " what the hell Erin!" She laughed and said, " I guess you have no choice but to skinny dip." I smiled and stood up and took off my bottoms too then jumped into the water. She took off her suit then dived in after me. Uh this was so wrong I thought to myself. She popped up right next to me and squirted me in the face with the ice cold water. We laughed, squealed and splashed for hours. After a while we got tired and just looked up at the stars. "Abby will you promise me something?" She said. I nodded in reply and said "yes what is it." She looked at me in the eyes and said, " Promise me that no matter what you will be my partner in crime forever. Ok." I smiled and said, "forever and always." In that moment I wanted to kiss her so badly. I could have just leaned in and locked my lips with hers, but I didn't. It was always going to be like this. That's why I've never told her and why I never will. Never tell her that I'm in love with her.
