It was a Saturday night and I had just gotten to the outdoor mall that was by my house. There were lights hung over the roads and the sidewalks and Christmas music softly played. The small pond outside of the movie theater had frozen over and little children were running around laughing and screaming. It truly was the best time of the year. I sat near the small little frozen pond and watched the happy people walk by me. Behind me I could hear soft footsteps. My eyes lit up and I cracked a smile. I knew exactly who it was. Quickly I stumbled out of my seat and turned around. A beautiful girl was standing in front of me. She had olive skin, dark brown hair and big dark brown eyes. There was a big smile across her face and she was laughing. I guess she thought that my clumsiness was hilarious. "Hi" she finally said. "Hi" I said in reply. I blushed a little and turned my head to the side a little hoping that she didn't notice. "So you ready to go see the movie?" She asked. I nodded and we started walking towards the big movie theater.
The movie theater was packed and freezing. We went to go see the Penguins of Madagascar. During the movie I could tell that Camila was cold so I slowly slid my feet over to her side. In reply she moved her feet closer to mine. We kept scooting closer to each other until our feet were touching. The rest of the movie she slid her foot up and down my leg.
After the movie we walked around the outdoor mall. We flirted, laughed and sat on a swing together. As we sat, there was a awkward but comfortable silence and there was an occasional crack of a smile followed by a small laugh. "Have you ever had a meaningful kiss before?" She asked. I thought for a second thinking back on all my kisses I've had and then shook my head. "No I've never really had a meaningful kiss before" I answered back. Before I could say another word she leaned in and kissed me. It was a soft kiss and her lips tasted like cherry. She backed away slowly and chuckled then asked, "how about now?"
