The drive was long and tiring, Just one more hour to go. And she'd be at her new job, how did she get this job? Quite simple, really. She already had a degree in the medical field, but working with criminally insane people...well it went far deeper than just 'wanting' to. A tragic story with her older brother, he was like a father to her. Shielding her from all the bad in the world he had experienced up front and personal, it worked for as long as he stayed alive. Though, all things must come to an end.

The thoughts on her brother are quite grim, she took a much needed deep breath in, and focused on the road. She passed tall trees, and a sign that said "Smith's grove Sanitarium." It indicated she was close to her destination, which relieved her, but made her anxiety fly through the roof at the same time. Her throat suddenly went dry, she needed to stay focused. But this road...so familiar...so horrible. This is how she'd describe the road to hell, if she really needed to. The sky was cloudy, which meant it'd rain later. She loved the rain, so that was one thing to look forward to.

It wasn't long until she saw the gates surrounding the tall building. She sighed, before parking in the parking lot. She pulled the key out of the ignition. She stayed in her car for a moment, the memories coming back in a flash. She frowned, running a shaky hand through her hair before getting out. She pulled her jacket on, and zipped it up. She still looked work presentable, which was what she was worried about. She needed to make a good first impression.

When she was let into the building, she smiled at the receptionist. "Hi! I'm Evelyn Williams, here about the job?" She said kindly to the woman who smiled back at her, "Ah hello Ms. Williams! We were expecting you." The receptionist said with a smile. "Hmm..let's see.." The girl mumbled as she tapped away at her computers key board. Evelyn looked around, the walls were a plain white, with a few chairs lining the wall for people to sit in and a table with a plant on it. Typical waiting room.

"Alright, you'll be seeing Dr. Loomis for the job interview." She said, giving Evelyn a few papers. "Oh and Ms? Do be careful here." The receptionist said, giving her a sad smile. Evelyn only smiled back before she walked down a hallway, different guards had to open different doors for her just to get to Dr. Loomis' office. This place certainly had a lot of security...who was in here that was so dangerous they needed THIS much security? She'd find out...

She knocked on a door, earing a soft "Come in." She took a deep breath in, before entering. "Hi, I'm Evelyn Williams." She said, giving him a sheepish smile. "Ah yes, Ms. Williams. Please, have a seat." Dr. Loomis said, giving her a quick smile. She nodded, before closing the door behind her and having a seat in front of his wooden desk. His desk wasn't all that organized, but everything else was. "I remember you from when you were younger, I'm...very sorry for what happened to your brother." He said, giving her a sympathetic smile.

Evelyn nodded, giving him a quick smile. "Thank you..it means a lot." She said, crossing her arms. "Of course, is that why your here to take this job?" Dr. Loomis asked the brunette girl. "Yes, actually. I'd like to..try and prevent those same things from happening to another person like they did him." She said, shifting uncomfortably in her seat. She knew this conversation would come up, but she knew she should have prepared herself for it. "I do have a degree in psychology as well, you already know about the nursing degree." She spoke up, wanting to change the subject.

"Yes of course...I'd actually like to assign you to one of my..more troubled patients." He entwined his fingers together and rested them on his desk. "Are you familiar with Michael Myers?" He asked, but before she could speak he continued. "I'll assume no, considering you two were the same age when this happened." He sighed, glancing down at his desk. "Oh..I think the name rings a bell." She said quietly, thinking. "Good. Well, I must inform you about his behavior. He hasn't spoken since he was around 10 or 11. He hardly moves either, he's...basically just a walking zombie. An empty shell." Dr. Loomis explained to her, making her eyebrows raise in surprise. "That long? Wow.." She said quietly, sighing. "Yes...I've lost all hope in redeeming him. The most I can do is just..continue to observe him and hope for the best." He spoke with a small frown.

She only nodded, this was...crazy. "Alright, well I'll let you meet him. But don't expect much from him. Oh..and don't point out the masks he wears. Most do." He warned, and she nodded. When he stood up and motioned her to follow, she did so and followed him out and down the hall. She passed multiple rooms, you could hear screaming, murmuring, and even quiet sobs. Something you'd expect from a Sanitarium like this. He motioned the two guards to open the door, and they did so. She stayed a little behind Loomis, but what she saw wasn't expected. A smallish room with a desk and a lamp on it, and hand crafted masks littering the walls from top to bottom. She gulped when she saw the hunched over man in the chair at the desk, she could only see his back. But from what she could see, she knew he was tall. He had dirty blonde hair that went a little past his shoulders, it was rather tangled too.

"Michael, meet Ms. Williams. She's going to be...an assistant for me of sorts. So she'll be working with you a lot." Dr Loomis said clearly, he wanted him to hear. Michael didn't stop painting his masks nor did he turn around. It was like talking to a wall, you wouldn't get a response back. Evelyn frowned, this was....going to be hard.
