"Dr. Loomis, I'm telling you he spoke!" Evelyn exclaimed, placing her hands on Dr. Lommis' desk. Her way of saying this wasn't a lie, nor a silly joke.. She had spent the last ten minutes trying to get this man to believe her. Alas, the odds were not in her favor.

Loomis sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Ms. Williams, I've told you time and time again. He is not human! I'd be surprised if he even twitched." He responded, standing up with clear skepticism plastered on his elderly features. Eyebrows furrowed, he took in a deep breath. "This is not a person anymore, this is a murderer." He said in a stern voice, making his point clear that there was no room to argue with it.

"But Dr. Loomis-" She was instantly cut off, "No buts. Even if he did speak, I have yet to hear it myself. There is no redeeming  him. Now, run along. I have work to do." He muttered, sitting back down and getting straight to his paperwork. He was the definition of if you can't hear it or see it then it doesn't exist. Over a Decade, he's done and tried everything to seek out just a morsel of humanity within him. He saw no redemption.

Evelyn rolled her eyes, before walking out in mild frustration. How could he be so ignorant? He was making her out to be the crazy one! which she didn't like. Not one bit. She took a deep breath in, running a hand through her brunette hair to calm herself down. It didn't matter much, she was there, she experienced it for herself. She witnessed it for herself...

Driving back to Haddonfield, the closest town to Smith's Grove Sanitarium was a miserable one. The sun was setting, the bright orange hue mixing with a pink hue. It was beautiful, if it weren't so damn bright. Evelyn huffed slightly in frustration, grabbing her sunglasses and putting them on.

She sat in silence as she focused on the road, pacing trees and a bit of wildlife. But, the silence was catching up to her. Her thoughts began to trail back to a few days ago. When Michael had written down his answers for her, when he spoke.

Though yesterday, her session with him was..oddly weird. His behavior had changed, he was silent. All he did was stare, as if the ounce of humanity he had shown a few days prior was no longer there.

She furrowed her eyebrows as she found herself outside of her house. She parked, grabbing her purse and getting out. Time flew by whenever she was deep in her thoughts, but she couldn't allow herself to be enthralled with this case, the murderer, the backstory of it all. How his mind worked. That was the big question after all. What was going through his mind?

So this was a shitty chapter, but I did my best lol.
