September 1914
"Hm? Henry?" Abigail breathed her words out as the mayor kissed her neck, laying on top of her on the couch in his lounge. A few weeks had passed since she told Rosemary and Elizabeth about her affairs with Henry and she had no other chances to see him after that. But Cody was having a sleep over at Robert's house tonight and she took the opportunity to go see Gowen once again.
"Yes, Abigail?" He asked her, leaning up a bit to get a better look down at her.
"Thi-This is a little uncomfortable." She told him, trying to reposition herself underneath him.
Henry moved off of her and pulled her onto his lap. "Better?" He asked and she nodded before kissing him again, her hands reaching down to hike her skirt up so it was easier to straddle him. "Why do I feel like that wasn't what you were going to say?" Henry broke the kiss to ask her.
She looked at him for a moment, about to say something, but she changed her mind again. "Don't you worry about it." She said before kissing him again and reaching under them to undo his belt and his pants. She pushed them down before positioning him at her entrance and she moved down on him with a soft moan.
Henry hummed and slid his hands up and down her sides. "I was glad to see you at my door." He smiled up at her.
"I've been thinking about coming over for days." She admitted.
"Why didn't you?"
"I have responsibilities, Henry. I cannot drop everything to come here and let you do what you want with me." She smiled and kissed him again, starting to move up and down on him, humming into the kiss.
"Mm...Abigail..." He broke the kiss again. "You are the one who does what you want with me." He pointed out to her.
She softly chuckled. "Hm, that is true."
Henry smiled when she chuckled. "You have a great smile." He told her, sliding his hands up under her blouse to feel the warmth of the bare skin on her back.
"Shhh." She placed her pointer finger over his lips. "I did not come here to talk."
"See? You really love being in charge." He said with a small chuckle.
Abigail playfully rolled her eyes and kissed him again to shut him up. She ran her fingers through his hair, unintentionally pulling it as he hit the right spot and she moaned. "Ha-Have you done this before?" Abigail finally had the courage to ask him.
"Done what?"
"This." She said again.
"Of course I have." He told her.
"You-You have?" She slowed her movements down a bit.
"I thought you said you didn't come here to talk." Henry smirked at her and moved his hands from her bare back to her ribs.
"I-I am serious, Henry."
"Yes. I-I WAS married for 9 years." He said with a chuckle.
Abigail stopped moving entirely and looked into his eyes. "What? You were?"
"Mhm." He nodded. "I am divorced."
"Who-Who is she?"
"Does it matter? She lives in America now." The mayor moved his hands to her bare stomach and started to move them up, stopping just under her breasts.
"I did not know that, Henry. What happened between you two?" She wondered aloud.
"I was struggling to find work at the time. She wasn't having it anymore, so she found some wealthy doctor and left." He told her.

FanfictionI am bad at summaries, but this is my take on Abigail and Henry's relationship before, during, and after the show. Mostly during. Warning: There are sexual situations/some smut in this fic, so don't read if you are uncomfortable with that/under 18.
