Dan and Verago just finished an adventure in the year 1947 and when they return home they noticed that their neighbor Kali had company.

So Moses and Cali follow them to the next room and the door closes behind them.
And Ramses chuckles and takes off his pharaoh hat "All right, Moses. I know you" he puts his hat on the chair "What's this really about?"
"Yeah sister," CJ says standing next to the throne chair "What's this about?"
Moses goes to the window and sees all the slaves.
"Rameses, look," Moses says "What do you see?"
"Yeah sister, what do you see down there?" Cali asks.
They both look.
"A greater Egypt than that of our father," Rameses says.
"And a more fancier way thanks to me," CJ says.
"That is not what we see," Moses says.
"Not at all," Cali says.
Rameses then chuckles and sits on the throne with Cali sitting next to him.
"Moses, I cannot change what you see," Rameses says "I have to maintain the ancient traditions" he touches his hat "I bare the weight of our father's crown"
"That's how things run here," CJ says.
"Do you still not understand what Seti was?" Moses asks.
"He was......... a great leader," Rameses says.
"And a great father to us as well," CJ says being proud of that.
"He was not your father," Cali says "Our father is back at home"
"Seti is my father now and always will be," CJ says.
"His hands bore the blood of thousands of children," Moses says.
"Hmph. Slaves" Rameses says.
"Who cares," CJ says.
"We care," Cali says.
"And they are my people," Moses says "and I can no longer hide in the desert 🏜️ while they suffer" he stops for a second before continuing "At your hands"
That's when it hit them and they understood.
"So....you have returned......only to free them" Moses looks at the ring he was still wearing that Rameses gave him a long time ago and took it off and walked to him and put the ring on the armrest of the throne chair.
And then backs away "I'm sorry"
Rameses picks up the ring and looks at it and he looked hurt "Yes, I had hoped.." he stops and closes his hand, and closes his eyes. But then something inside snapped in him and when his eyes opened again they weren't friendly and he stands up and puts back the hat on again "I do not know this God" He then walks past Moses and purposely bumps into him "Neither will I let your people go" he begins to walk away.
"Rameses, please, you must listen-" Moses gets cut off.
"I will not be the weak link," Rameses says in a harsh tone in his voice and points to Moses and then walks to the door and opens it "Tell your people as of today.....their workload has been doubled, thanks to your God" Moses gasps "or is it thanks to you?" the door then closes behind him.
Moses then leaves and that leaves CJ and Cali alone.
"Now we can have a real talk," Cali says.
"Go ahead sister," CJ says.
"With pleasure" she then slaps CJ in the face and she falls to the ground and gasps as she looks at Cali in shock as she rubs her face "don't you ever say that man is your father, our father is David and he's a good man"
"That father is an idiot" she stands up and wipes her dress "he tried for years to woo our mother and she wasn't interested at all. She obviously just felt pity on him"
"You can talk bad all you want about my friends like Marinette and Alya and the others in Paris, but I will not let you talk bad about the family" she grabs her "You are coming home rather you like it or not"
CJ laughs and pushes Cali off of her "If you could do that you would've done that a long time ago sister, you obviously need me to come willingly. Otherwise, it wouldn't work now would it" Cali goes silent "I knew it" she walks past her "There is nothing you can do. That will make me go back to that pathetic life" She then leaves.
Cali then rejoins Moses and the others and from the look on her face, they saw it didn't work.
They then left the palace and walked around.
And as they walked a slave saw Moses and threw mud at him and that made him slip and fall.
"Moses," they said as they go to him.
"So, Moses" they look up and saw that it was Moses's brother Aaron "How does it feel when you get struck to the ground?" Aaron asks.
"I didn't mean to cause you more pain," Moses says "I'm just trying to do as God told me"
"God? When did God start caring about any of us?" Aaron asks "In fact, Moses, when did you start caring about slaves? Was it when you found out that you were one of us?"
"Don't listen to him" Tzipporah says.
"Back off man," Dan says "At least he's trying to do something about it now"
"No, he's-he's right," Moses says "I did not see because I did not wish to see"
"Oh, you didn't see because you didn't wish to see," Aaron says mocking him "Ah! Well, that makes everything fine then, doesn't it?"
"Aaron!" He gasps as he saw his sister Miriam right next to him "you shame yourself" she leaves him and walks to Moses with a warm and welcoming smile with no anger or regrets in her eyes 👀, but only love for her baby brother.
"Miriam" Moses says and thinks back to what he did and he felt guilty at what he did "I'm so sorry" he lowers his head in shame and sighs with his hand over his face.
Miriam feels back for him and she gets on her knees to his level.
"Moses, hear what I say" Miriam says "I have been a slave all my life, and God has never answered my prayers until now. God saved you from the river, he saved you in all your wandering, and even now He saves you from the wrath of Pharaoh" she lifts his head and makes him look at her "God will not abandon you, so don't you abandon us"
Moses looks at his people and then grabs his stick and stands up and then they saw a boat in the water with Rameses and CJ on it with a few guards and a boy and Hotup and Huy doing magic tricks for the boy.
Moses and Cali then walk to them and everybody follows them.
