Part 18: A Date!?

Back at the depressing and busy part of the city. Telly went out from her home and is currently testing out the humanoid robot in a quite messy park.

"Ok, test 18. After multiple attempts of testing it, the ai I've implemented wasn't very.. believable. I would need to code a new AI for it. Gosh dang it!"

Telly was very unamused, she really didn't want to spend a week again to code. "Telly!!" A voice from a far catching Telly's attention. It was Fan!

"Oh! Fan, I didn't expect anyone to be here. What's up?" She looked at Fan in curiosity. He smiled in response. "Ohh uhm, nothing m-much! Just uhm.." He took a deep breath. "I uhh.. gosh haha. Telly.. will you go out with.. me??" He was clearly nervous.

Telly just stands there, frozen in shock. She didn't expect that from Fan, guess she was terrible at picking up the hints he was giving the past week. "Wow- uhm golly haha.." She scratched the back of her head. Both blushed red as a tomato.

Awkward silence between the two. "Sorry I shouldn't have-" Fan then got cut off. "No No No!! It's just uh.. didn't know how to respond. Uhm but uhh.. Sure! I'd love too!" Fan was over the moon about this and was smiling ear to ear. "oH Ok!! I'll text you where or something ok see you!!" He dashed away before Telly replied.

She chuckled to herself. "Golly, I've got a date now.. hah. Guess this robot can wait for another week. Time to get this back home before it rains."

"O..m..g,!! I did it.. That was so so so awkward that I would die to do that again but that went so well than I was expecting!" Fan talked to himself as he was far away from Telly for her to hear him.

He was so energetic after that. He wanted to post it on his blog so so badly but he wanted to ask Telly first if she was comfortable with that. He was still blushing a ton and smiling ear to ear. He quickly walked back to his apartment and geeked about it more.

After several hours, he finally got his mind together to think about a place for the date. He didn't plan this far as he thought Telly would reject him. He thought and thought and got the idea to go to a cafe or a bakery.

He searched online the nearest cafe from where he is and a bakery close to his apartment. Said bakery have a good rating but only like, 5 people rated it. Though none of it was mean about it and Fan wonders why not a lot of people go there since the rating said the owner was very nice. One of the rating said there's only two employees also, wonder if they will accept any more employment later.

Fan wonders but decided to pick the place. He texted Telly to meet him Infront of the bakery in 2 days and she agreed. Fan laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling, fantasizing about the date.
