Aldrine and Miya left Aldrine's office and find their daughter already seated on the dental chair, wide awake.
Chi
Ate Weweng uwi na Chichi.
Chi
Go home na, go home.Ate Weng
Chi, nandito si Mommy mo.Chi
Where's Mimi? Why no Mimi here?
Miya takes a deep breath in. Aldrine's presence could be felt behind her.
Miya
Chi . . .
Chi looks at Miya. Her gaze is fixed on her mother, oblivious to the person behind her.
Chi
Mimi!Mimi uwi na Chichi po!
Chi's lips tug downward, indicating that she's about to cry and is desperate to get home.
But then her eyes shifts to someone else's, someone she has long wished for and has finally seen.
Her small lips part, and her eyes are beginning to fill with awe.
Aldrine approaches her and takes a seat beside her on the swivel chair.
Chi blinks a lot of times as her gaze never leaves her father. Her lips are still agape.
Aldrine smiles at her. He lifts his point finger and tenderly brushes Chi's palm.
Chi looks down at her hand, she reflexively grips her father's finger.
