Your eyes fluttered open at the sensation of lips against your cheek. You then fixed your groggy gaze on the familiar mess of hair. Smiling, you shifted in his embrace, while he kissed his way to your lips. He held you close, pressing your bare bodies together and you realized last night actually happened.Everything that happened in his backseat had a dreamlike quality to it, that it almost made you question if this was just a continuation of it.
Despite your disbelief, you were actually in his bed, with him, lazily making out. Could you be sure you weren't still dreaming?
He eventually broke his lips from yours to softly say, "Hi."
"Hi," you echoed, gazing up at him with the goofiest smile.
"How'd you sleep?" He then asked, gently brushing your hair from out of your face.
"Good, though I only managed to get a couple hours, thanks to you," you jokingly replied.
"Well, you were warned there wasn't going to a lot of sleeping..." he defended, leaning in to kiss you again.
"I know, but still," you said, in between kisses.
"No one's ever kissed me like you do," he then breathily began.
"I find that hard to believe."
"Its true. I think it has something to do with the curve of your lips," he wondered, as he brushed his thumb across your bottom lip. "They're the perfect shape, which makes them very kissable. Combine that with the emotion behind every kiss, and you have the perfect lips."
"And you determined this after one night together?"
"Some things you just know right off, like I realized it after the first time you kissed me. It just felt right and different, but in a good way," he revealed, gazing at you adoringly.
"If you keep talking like that, I might just fall in love with you," you said with a laugh.
"Maybe that was my plan all along," he smirked, before kissing you, passionately.
After spending the next couple hours together, Steve offered to take you back to your place. He also informed you he had to work that afternoon, but proposed a potential date night for you both after his shift.
"I can get some movies and grab something to eat, and we can make a night of it. Does that sound good?" He asked, hopeful, after pulling up in your driveway.
He held your hand and brought it up to his lips, while he waited for your response.
You thought he looked so cute in that moment, that you almost forgot he asked you a question.
"Yeah, that sounds nice actually," you smiled, before he kissed your knuckles.
"Great, so I should be back here after eight, I think."
You nodded, as he pulled you to him.
"Last night was the best night I've had in forever," he breathed. "You were amazing."
"So were you," you quietly replied, before he kissed you softly.
Neither one of you wanted the kiss to end, but he knew he had to go, or he wouldn't leave.
"I'll see you tonight," he breathily said, after pulling away slightly.
Feeling flustered, from seemingly out of nowhere, you nodded before getting out of the car.
It had been so long since you felt like this, and the intensity of your budding feelings overwhelmed you. You told yourself you were just tired and in desperate need of a shower.
