Joseph Kirkpatrick Jordan, spending three years reprogramming various droids under his command and upgrading their protocols. The B1 battle droids and Super battle droids and Droidekas' as well as vehicles. The Grand five-star General of the CIS and the United States military General as well as now an Eternal Journeyer gave some of them names. The B1's two are Battle droid assassins Bullseye and Headshot. Two were normal battle droids named Blaze and Sin. The last was one Heavy B1 battle droids called Cannon. The three Super battle droids Joey named Soundwave, Shockwave, Hyberwave. The Droideka he called Wall-E. The upgrades Joey gave them should make them a nightmare for the Dark Triad. The mission he recently accepted two hours ago from the Eternal Grand Council is the test of that.

When the Confederacy of Independent Systems first formed, it had immediately began work on the most feared droid army in galactic history. Many millions of Confederate citizens worked the various factories that produced droids and ships out of patriotism, but others wanted to do more. They actually wanted to aid droids on the battlefield, and so, the executive council approved the creation of a brigade within the droid army known as the Confederate Volunteer Corps, or CVC. The CVC is considered by many on the Council and in the Parliament to be nothing more than a vanity project. However, most of the volunteer soldiers were considered elite warriors, tacticians and engineers, and despite their underfunding, they would prove to be a big thorn in Chancellor Palpatine's side during the Galactic Civil War. At first glance, when compared to the droid army, the volunteers seemed more like a loose alliance of hired guns than a proper army. This wasn't the case however, as CVC operations could not only boost the effectiveness of the droid army, but also increase public support for the CIS, which was dampened by actions of the Separatist Council. Many volunteer fighters were hailed as heroes and celebrities among the Separatist civilian populace, being depicted in toys, games and media outlets in order to increase funds for the droid army. While the CVC worked in conjunction with the droid army, they could also operate independently, conducting missions that were considered too small for the droids. While the CVC was made up of mostly volunteer sentients, it wasn't surprising to see the occasional battle droid among their ranks. When the Clone Wars came to an end, the CVC was one many remaining Separatist forces left after the deactivation of the droid army that Joseph Kirkpatrick prevented. The CVC, in addition to the Separatist holdouts, was formerly used as a scapegoat by the then self-proclaimed Emperor Palpatine, and many members either signed on with the newly formed Empire out of fear, joined various Separatist holdouts, or became bounty hunters or guns for hire. Many years later, when various rebel cells coalesced into the Alliance to Restore the Republic, many of the surviving CVC fighters joined this Rebel Alliance out of a desire for revenge against the Galactic Empire. Until, it later formed into the Dominion of Allied Empires.
