It was supposed to be beautiful; all he had built in a small world would grow to encompass every other world. He was doing it not just because it was his nature, his desire to take and conquer, to take what is small and insignificant and turn it into something grand and fantastic, but also because he had lost and sworn he would not lose again. They, the 'hims' of so many other worlds had sent him into exile, but he would not be silenced or stopped, he would do what he was born to do. There was no heat yet he was sweating, there was no cold yet he was freezing, and there was nothing yet he had been walking for days.
