Diana....Diana.....DIANA

Water, practically a gallon of it ejected itself out of Diana's lungs, forcing her to turn over and squeeze her eyes shut. The burning sensation lingered as she tried to cough the last few drops out. A hand held hers as she hunched over herself, gaging and coughing violently.

"Breath" the voice comforted, through her tears Diana saw Klaber's figure blury but still present. Gripping onto his jacket, Diana picked herself up after being hunched over for so long.

"Am I dead, am I in hell?" She croaked out while looking around the room, "Not yet" Klaber chuckled. She shook her head, wiping her mouth before looking at the man sitting next to her.

"How did I get here? I was supposed to die in the water", He nodded " Yeah well i was going to let you after you held a knife to my throat and threw a stick of dynamite at us". Diana's lips slightly curled up "Sorry, nothing personal", Klaber shrugged "It's cool", Diana sighed and tried to breathe in deep breathes to restore her former breathing pattern.

Klabber stood up and walked over to a bag. "Where are we?" Diana asked, "We're in Sicily, Doc found out you translated wrong on purpose. We followed your family, but we stopped here to gather supplies" Klaber explained while dropping a pile of clothes into her arms. He stacked another layer of clothing but this one looked more feminine. Looking down she realized she was wearing the same thing from when she fell in, she most have been ignoring the dampness until now.

"Who are the first pair for?"
"The doctor, he's in in that room" Klaber pointed to a closed door,
"What's wrong with the clothes he has on?"
"They're soaking, like yours"
Diana raised her eyebrow "why?"
Klaber had a sly smile on him as if the answer was obvious or in the least bit...amusing

"Who do you think pulled you out?"

Diana said nothing, she just stared silently contemplating her thoughts..her feelings..towards the enemy. She muttered out a soft "oh" and headed towards the room the doctor was waiting in. As she opened the door, she saw the man stand up, his bare back facing her.

"You took long enough, Klaber" he said before turning around and freezing. Diana froze along with him, like two deers in headlights. Diana's eyes betrayed her by trailing down at the doctor's exposed chest. She knew from his outline that he was a strong man but that doesn't mean she had expected what she saw. Toned muscles, slight chest hair and a few scars. Judging by how his pants were still on, he had only began to undress. The way his damp hair fell on his forehead made Diana believe this man had to have a deal with the devil, his soul in exchange for ethereal beauty. Forcing her eyes to dart towards the bed, she reminded herself as a doctor that this..glorious man was just another body.

The doctor's gaze wasn't as innocent or restrained. He didn't hide how his eyes lingered on her chest, the white cloth sticking to her skin. Outlining and revealing things that were not meant to be shone to him. He suspected he was the only man to ever see her like this, and that made him feel...powerful. He dared walk forward, towering over her and placing his hand on her cheek.

"Are you alright?" He asked tiling his head towards to see her face
"Fine. my favorite part was throwing up water and waking up with the very group I was trying to escape from" she grumbled still avoiding his eyes.
This only made the older man regale at his former assistant's stubbornness. "You could have drowned" he reminded her, "You could have let me" she whispered as if it was a forbidden thing to say.

His hand moved and curled in to allow his pointer and thumb to hold her chin, and lifted it so that her eyes would be compelled to meet his. he looked so deeply into her eyes that he thought they may consume him, in a way...they did.
