At the end of my workday, I picked up my things and went home. As I was driving, I kept thinking about everything that happened tonight. The return of Miss Gabi, the positive feedback I received from them, the invitation to dinner at Miss Williams' house and the main and best of all these facts.... I found my Kelly again! I can't believe all of this until now. If I had known that Miss Union would bring me this great gift, I would have arranged to invite her personally to return to Chemin as soon as possible, more precisely, 3 years ago when I started working here.
I got home and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower and put on more comfortable clothes to lie down, I am exhausted. As soon as I lay down, I put my playlist to play and in order to help me relax a little more, and when I closed my eyes for a moment, it was very clear the image of Kelly walking towards me when she was coming from the bathroom ... After traveling a little bit in my thoughts, my mind fell and I realized that tomorrow I would have to find a way to leave work a little earlier to be able to attend this dinner, if not I will lose the chance to see Kelly and get her contact. I can't miss this chance!
The next day...
I went to the restaurant to get everything ready and left all the instructions for my assistant, Kevin (he is the one who stays in my place at the restaurant when I need to be away), and came home to take a shower and get ready in a hurry so as not to be so late for dinner.
I confess that I'm tense and don't know what to wear, but I hope everything works out.
When I finished getting ready, I grabbed my bag, got in the car and left. Almost an hour and a half later I arrived at Serena's house, which by the way was beautiful. I stopped my car in front of her house and, where the other cars were, then I walked towards her door and before pressing the doorbell I took a deep breath to see if I could be a little calmer and when I thought it was possible, I gave the first ring and without taking long the door opened.
"- Oh... Look who's here! What a nice surprise." Serena said. "- Come on, Beyoncé. Come on in! We thought you weren't coming anymore. There are people who are looking forward to your arrival." She winked at me, I knew she was talking about Kelly.
"- Hi, Serena! I was a little late due to force majeure, but I made it." I got all shy and before continuing what I had to say. "-Thank you for having me! I brought this here for you." I handed her the bottle of Dom Pérignon.
"- Great choice, Beyoncé! Thank you." She said, giving me a hug. "-Now let's go, before you start to wonder why I'm late." She laughed and dragged me by the hand to the place where everyone was.
When we arrived together most people were still distracted and I thanked God for that, but there was someone who stopped everything she was doing and stared at me and I didn't mind her eyes on me at all.
Kelly's point of view
Serena went to answer the door and so far has not returned. I was about to interrupt the conversation with Gabi to see what was going on, when I saw her coming in the company of Serena. At that moment everything around me seemed to have gone silent and the only thing I could do was look at her. She looked so beautiful! When she smiled at me, I could see the happiness and shyness coming from that beautiful smile.
