Hungry

I have straight A's
I'm 'A pleasure to have in class'
Some might call me a teachers pet,

But it isn't enough

So I got some hobbies
I was amazing at sketching
I became 'the next Jimi Hendrix'

But you still weren't satisfied

I try and try to feed you all my compliments but you're still hungry
I've tried all there is to try, there's nothing left

I lay defeated, knowing you can never be satisfied.
You're forever hungry for more
