Scumbag.

Someone shook me awake from my sleep.

I saw Cora's thin figure towering above me , who does she think she is waking me up.

"Tina could you wake up?" I flutter my eyes and furrow my brows.

"Why are you here?" She sighed.

"I just wanted to apologise for these problems I've been causing you , your not gonna forgive me i know. But Troy made me do this"

Now I was confused , why would he make her do this.

"He told me if I make your life living hell and you leave Tom, he could finally have you back"

I was gonna snap.

"But why did you listen to him Cora?"

She teared up.

"He held me at gun point Tina, I had no choice. I'm sorry" she hugged me lightly, I hugged her back.

"Are you telling me the truth cause if you aren't there's gonna be problems" i point.

" I swear down Tina , he's still the same scumbag he was 6 years ago"

The police man walked over to my cell and unlocked the door.

"I see you two have made up" we both nodded.

"Has my boyfriend arrived ? " I asked , the police man nodded , as I headed out I turned back to Cora and whispered in her ear.

"It's time for our revenge"

I left Cora and ran to Tom.

"Hey my girl!" He hugged me tight.

We walked out of the prison doors and I could finally breath.

"Listen, we need to talk about Cora and Troy and this is really fucking serious so listen to me " i tense up in my seat and watch tom slowly turn to me with a confused expression on his face.

"What's wrong?"

"Troy was behind all of this, he held Cora at gunpoint and made her do all of these things"

"How do you know she's not lying?"

"Because he's held gunpoint at me too"
Flashback to 6 years ago

"Troy why are you doing this?!"

My hands were tied , we were in the old hospital building.

" why do you think I'm doing this? You clearly didn't do what I asked"

"Because I don't want to ruin Cora's life!? Is that it? "

"Do you not realise what she did to me? She ditched me for my brother"

" didn't you ditch me for her?!"

"AND SHOULDNT THAT MAKE YOU WANT TO RUIN HER LIFE?"

"NO IT DOESNT BECAUSE IM NOT A ROTTEN SCUMBAG LIKE YOU!"

He grabbed his gun from his pocket and held it to my head, the cold metal making me shiver and cry.

"This is what you get for not listening to me"

The gun clicked , but before he shot me straight into the head I untied my hands while we were arguing and pushed his hand so he shot the floor, I kicked him in the chest and ran out of the hospital building.

"SO HE HELD YOU AT FUCKING GUNPOINT?"

Tom looked really tensed up at this point.

"We need to get Cora , stay here"

I got out of the car and walked back into the prison.

"Hello ? Cora?"

"Sorry ma'am she got picked up by her boyfriend"

"Troy Baker?"

"Yes"

"Fuck!"

I stormed out and back into the car.

"Troy's got her , drive Tom drive!"

Tom pressed the pedal and sped out of the car park as fast as he could.

"Where we going? " his eyes not leaving the road.

" 523 mulberry avenue " Tom sped up , I was practically pressing against the seat.

He didn't even bother to park properly , we rushed out the car.

"TROY BAKER OPEN THE DOOR RIGHT NOW"

The door opened , Troy was standing at the doorstep. His hand behind his back.

"Hey Tina! Hey Tom. What's got you to come over?"

I ignored his question and pushed past him.

"Where is Cora , Troy "

"I see you have figured it out ms detective"

"Don't get all smart with me , now tell me where she is"

I bang was heard from the basement.

"TINA IM HERE"

My head turned to the basement.

Troy shot his gun into the air.

"If you dare go in there , I'll kill you"

Tom pushed Troy to the floor and grabbed a gun from his table.

" go Tina! I'll keep him busy"

I swung the basement doors open and found Cora tied up sitting on a chair, her face wet with tears.

I untied her hand and legs and pulled her up the stairs.

"You may want this" she passed me a gun from the shelf.

"Good thinking "

Gunshots were heard , this could get deadly.

I pulled cora out and signalled for her to run outside.

"You bitch! You ruined everything" now his gun was held at me.

I point my gun at him.

"Well your little game ends here" I shot Troy in the stomach.

"Scumbag" I put the gun in my pocket.

We walked back to the car , Cora wasn't there so she must've ran home.

"You looked so hot back there" Tom reached in to kiss me.

" he knew I was gonna come for him one day"

Police sirens were heard in the distance , atleast 5 streets down.

"We better bounce , don't wanna get arrested"

Tom turned the car on and sped out of the street and headed home, he parked his car in the garage so the cops don't see the licence plate in case someone told them.

"Turn the tv on"

The tv turned in to the daily news.

" 23 year old Troy Baker found dead in his own home, people reported to see a girl escaping the premises but nothing else"

Cora.

" He was found with a gunshot wound to the stomach, local citizens have reported Troy to be manipulative and has held thousands of girls at gunpoint for not completing his orders , coming up next is the weather with Sally Morgan"

"I hope she's okay" I say.

" I think she'll manage " Tom pinched the bridge of his nose in anticipation.

A knock on the front door was heard.

"Cora ! I'm so glad your okay" I hugged Cora and she hugged me back.

"Yeah I'm fine , but is it ok if I stay with you guys for a bit? Until my parents come and get me form Ontario " I looked at Tom, he nodded.

"Ofcourse , come in"
