Draco:
I woke up in our dorm again, majorly confused. It was 1:30 PM, so I should've been in class, but I was asleep. Harry was also gone. I stood up shakily, trying not to step on my hurt foot. Unfortunately, I failed. Majorly. I sat on the floor and curled my legs up to my chest and reached over for one of Harry's muggle books that was lying in front of me.
"Oh, you're up." Harry said to me, walking into the room. He picked me up and put me back on my bed. "I just got done with lunch. I told our teachers that you got sick."
"Oh." I was still clutching Harry's book and I opened it to the first page. "Why aren't you in class?"
"Break."
"Right." I skimmed over the pages in the book and then put it down. "I'm still tired." I said around a yawn.
"Then go to sleep." Harry said, coming over and hugging me.
I frowned. "I don't know. I don't really want to."
He gave me a half-glare. "Lie down." I obeyed. He scooted over next to me and patted my hair down. "You need to brush your hair more often."
"Says you." I muttered. "It's been like that since I stopped gelling it."
Harry moved off my bed and grabbed my brush, putting the book down on the bedside table. He sat back down and ran the brush through my hair. "It's not that hard, Dray."
"Yes it is." I whined, turning over to face him. "It's kind of tangled, so it hurts."
"Mhm. Excuses, excuses." Harry said with a laugh. "Go back to sleep now." Harry said, putting the brush down and poking my nose.
I frowned and rolled back over. "You suck."
"Love you too, Dray." Harry said, finally turning off the light and hugging me goodbye. "See you later."
"Mhm." I sat up for a second and kissed his cheek, then laid back down. "Bye."
I woke up yet again, hours later. I clambered out of bed, onto my knees, avoiding my foot. I searched through the bedside table's drawer and pulled out one of the last bottles of my makeshift potion. "Shit." I only had five more, and I used one a month. I needed to make more. I drank the proper amount of it, not believing that I forgot to since I cut my foot. I shoved it back in the drawer and climbed back on the bed, almost angry about the fact that I was practically bedridden without Harry. I checked the clock. 5:00. About two hours until Harry got back. I grabbed Harry's book again and read through it, taking about an hour reading through it. I was so bored, waiting for Harry to come back and take me down outside. When he finally did, I smiled and sat up. He came over and hugged me tightly.
"How was your break?" Harry asked, a smile on his face.
"Boring. I'm glad you're back." I murmured. His smile grew wider and he kissed me. "Can we go outside?" He nodded and picked me up. We started walking down, when we came across Blaise and Ron.
"Hey guys." Harry said to them.
Ron turned, a bit of a guilty grin on his face. He backed away from Blaise, and I realized they were making out. "Hi."
"Ew." I said, smiling.
"What?" Blaise replied.
"You guys were kissing." I laughed.
Ron's freckled face turned tomato red. "I-I what?"
I laughed again. "Do you want to come with us? We're going outside." I asked. They both nodded. "Can you find Pansy and Hermione? Meet us by the lake."
"Wait..." Ron stared at me. "You're wearing a t-shirt and shorts. It's cold outside. Also, you don't have shoes."
I blinked. "Oh. I'm fine without shoes."
"He can borrow my sweatshirt." Harry said, passing me to Blaise, taking off his dark blue sweatshirt and handing it to me, then taking me back. I buried my face into his sweatshirt and smiled. Ron and Blaise smiled at each other and left to find the girls. Harry brought me outside and placed me down carefully in the grass. I put the sweatshirt on and snuggled into Harry's chest, sitting in his lap. He wrapped an arm around me.
"How was your day?" I asked.
"Mmm... fine." Harry replied, his eyes closing.
"I feel like I'm forgetting something." I said, almost to myself.
"Same." Harry ruffled up my hair, then smoothed it down again. He did the motion a couple more times. "I'm messing up your hair." He said, as if he was just realizing it.
"It's fine." I muttered, breathing out a sigh. I scooted around and hugged Harry.
"Aren't they the sweetest?" Pansy said, coming up behind us. I looked up and rolled my eyes in her direction. She sat down with Hermione and Blaise and Ron followed suit. "It's kind of peaceful out here." She said quietly, looking up at the stars that were appearing. Hermione smiled and held onto Pansy's hand. Ron had curled up next to Blaise, and they were hugging, like Harry and I.
"Things are different now." I said happily.
"That's a good thing." Harry replied, with a sad smile.
