Androxus was released, he took his revolver, while he remained on his knees, Magnus stood next to him.

"I need all the help I can get, right now I don't know who I can trust, but you told the truth," he said holding out his hand, Androxus took it and stood up.

"If you want to murder everyone in the abyss, count me in," he replied, nodding at last.

"I'll go too," added Koga, willing to be of service.

Magnus advanced, they would still need more help, they left Azaan right there, while they made their way to the monastery, the angel of balance opened the door wide, and the three of them went to the bedrooms, where the newly converted were still resting.

"I'd like to give you more time, but this is important," said Magnus.

"What's wrong," Khan asked in exultation, while Lian remained on the floor, still affected, on the other hand Jenos soon got up at the door, since he was in another room.

"Azaan betrayed us."

"What are you talking about?" asked a surprised Jenos.

"Just as you heard, Azaan never intended to stop the abyss for good, he can't, because he uses his powers, he only keeps them at bay, I will say this only once, if we want to avoid the invasion... we will have to go to them and prevent them from coming out of the abyss, otherwise, it will be too late."

Everyone reconsidered for a few seconds.

"It sounds like a one way trip, Corvus," said Lian, "But this new awareness...it makes me feel like we have to, it's nothing like anything I would care about, how I hate it, I don't even know who I am anymore."

Magnus walked over to her.

"You are a born leader, Lian... and now you share consciousness with an extremely brave warrior, perhaps the bravest I have ever seen."

Lian stood up, prepared her weapon, which was a rifle whose tip had a sharp blade, Magnus nodded.

"First, take him to the catacombs, he will need some help," he pointed to Koga, Lian and Khan decided to accompany him. "See you in Seris."

Magnus left the monastery accompanied by Jenos, Androxus and Drogoz, they prepared themselves. Drogoz began to flap his wings, Magnus did the same, on the other hand Jenos' cloak took a much more solid form, allowing him to levitate, Androxus floated slightly, then they all swooped down, descending to the mortal realm at great speed. It didn't take them long to land, there they were, in the village of Seris.

"What's next, Magnus?" asked Drogoz, the feathered warrior.

"The energy of the abyss resides in the air... perhaps the portal could be reopened..."

"Is that a good idea?" asked Jenos.

Magnus walked to the sacrificial area, he prostrated himself on the bridge, right in front of where the portal once resided, he soon extended his hands, the others prepared their weapons, from his hands soon began to emanate energy from the abyss, his arms soon began to vibrate, product of the effort he was making, Magnus then began to scream, he felt a deep pain when trying to manipulate so much energy, he extended his hands even more, the power was soon redirected to the portal, once it covered it by complex, it was activated once again.

The angel of balance remained on his knees for a few seconds, but then he stood up, the rest stood right behind him, he finally took out his dagger, he gave them all a look, and without further ado he threw himself into the portal, the feeling of going through it was somewhat confusing, he felt nauseous, product of a great dizziness, and a sudden heat that invaded him when he reached the site, he looked up, there it was, the abyss, soon the others joined him.
