He awoke once again, both consciousnesses united, more than ever. Everyone was facing the Abyssal Furia, who was once again in combat position. He hurried and ran to her, took out his Dagger and extended it, aiming it at her, she gave him a look.
"I don't care how powerful you are, Magnus, this has to end here."
"It doesn't have to be this way, all we want is Seris, he must pay for the genocide."
"And what did you do to stop it? Where were you when it happened?"
"Not a night has gone by that I haven't regretted it, I didn't understand it... but now that I am connected to a mortal who was a direct witness..." he said looking at his hands. "I can understand, this is part of our responsibility."
"The Pyre are nothing but hypocrites!"
"I really wish there was another way, but I know there is nothing left of you, in your deranged mind there is now only one feeling left, and that is vengeance."
"We agree on that," said Furia, unhooking her Abyssal PyreBlade.
Magnus began to advance, slowly, as he watched the demonic angel emanate a powerful purple aura, but he couldn't back down, he was perhaps the only one who could stop it, so that's what he would do.
She directed hordes of enemies in their direction, Magnus threw his dagger through them, and in a second he appeared ahead, a few feet away from Furia, the rest of his companions would deal with the abyssal creatures.
He held her by her arms, trying to restrain her, while gritting his teeth, she soon controlled the situation and threw him to the ground, he firmly held his dagger once again, while her figure walked up to him, preparing to finish him off with her sword. He wasted no more time and stood up, he entered into combat with her, dodged her attacks and looked for a way to cut her down.
She used her wings to retreat, and when she did she threw some energy balls at him, which he managed to stop with his hands, absorbing them in part, she started to get angry, she let out a scream, at the same time she waved her sword, Magnus knew what was coming, she threw a energy beam at him.
Magnus remained with his hand outstretched, causing the lightning to slow down slightly, but this one seemed quite strong, he had no choice but to turn around, foreseeing that he would not hurt any of his friends, he let it pass, by the time he turned around, Furia was already next to him, she gave a severe cut that ended up cutting part of his armor.
The angel of balance remained on his knees, while she with her weapon outstretched threatened him, in the sky soon rumbled the sound of a fluttering, when Magnus realized, he saw Seris, who was heading towards them.
"You can never win," said Furia. "I will kill you and every one of the Pyre, that is my purpose for which I was born."
When she said this, Magnus seemed to understand, Furia does not seem to remember her experiences as Sarah.
"You're still in there, aren't you, Sarah?"
"There is no Sarah, ONLY FURIA!" she shouted, throwing a cut.
Magnus could barely avoid it, he threw himself to the ground, began to crawl, backing away, he noticed how Seris descended, observing the confrontation.
"Now I understand..." he said.
Furia prepared her weapon to deliver the final blow, Magnus rolled just as it struck, he stood up and extended his hand, seeking to touch her, finally he did, he touched her head.
Then, everything in her mind seemed to spin, memories began to surface, the sacrifice, how Seris destroyed the village, past memories with her sister Abby, tears soon started to emanate from her eyes, when she came to, she saw Magnus on the ground, she had managed to run him through with her sword before he touched her.
