After Tom had walked away, your friend gave you a reassuring look urging you to follow him. You got up and nervously walked to your room wondering what he could possibly want. You've always like Tom since you were young and especially now that he is being flirty and all however, you didn't know if you could immediately forgive him for all the times he's embarrassed you in front of everyone.
As you were distracted by your own thoughts you realised you made it to your room. You stood outside for a second hesitating opening the door but you eventually gained the courage and turned the handle. You saw Tom get up off the bed and walk towards you, "What do you want?" you questioned trying not to sound too happy. Tom towered over you as you looked up at him making you step back slightly.
"I just wanted to apologise for how i've treated you in the past. This trip made me realise you're not too bad..." he nervously chuckled slightly, hoping you'd forgive him, "maybe we could have a fresh start and be friends, or more than friends?" he smirked as he looked you in the eyes. You stood in silence for a second as you thought about your decision. He did make your life terrible for the past few years, but maybe he's a better person now.
You silently hugged him as he wrapped his arms around you, "i forgive you" you pretty much whispered as you tried to hold in your smile. You eventually pulled away from the hug and made eye contact yet again. "i think we would make a cute couple" you giggled as he kissed you on the forehead making you blush.
"We should go back to breakfast before they think we are doing something weird" he raised an eyebrow as you both laughed together. He held your hand as you both walked back to the restaurant together. Tom was quite a popular student meaning all the attention was on you two. You realised you quite enjoyed the attention you got from everyone, especially the jealous girls.
