Nico's POV

"Nicholas di Angelo, to Principal Thorn's office." The lady over the PA said. I glanced at my teacher and he nodded for me to go. I nervously walked to the principal's office, wondering what I did. I never got in trouble. Am I getting expelled?! I opened the door. There was Father, Persephone, Holly, Ivy, Jasmine, Lily, and Hazel. But no Bianca. They all glared at me, expect Hazel. Uh oh.

"Why are we here? What did Nicholas do?" My stepmother asked, annoyed. Thorn smiled at her.

"It's nothing Nicholas did. Actually you're here to talk about Bianca." His grin turned fake sympathetic. "You see, a group of students snuck out to this junkyard last night and a pile fell on her. She hasn't been seen since. We believe she's..." He traced a finger across his neck and chuckled slightly like this was funny. We all froze.

"W-what?" Hazel asked brokenly. I felt tears roll down my cheeks.

"She's...she's d-de...gone?"  I forced out. My Father's eyes hardened.

"How could you let this happen, Nicholas? You should have noticed she was gone!" He yelled. I flinched.

"Th-the do-dorms a-are sep-separated b-by gen-gender a-and sh-she's I-in the old-older k-kid cla-classes." I tried to explain. He was having none of it.

"BACK TO CLASS, RIGHT NOW, NICHOLAS!!" He screamed. I ran to my dorm instead and cried.

I woke up panicked. Tears were rolling down my face and I searched for Will on the other side of the bed. He wasn't there. Where is he?! Is he gone too?! He probably got sick of me...He probably hates me...He probably figured out what I mess I am. I sobbed. And sobbed. And sobbed. About an hour later I heard the door open.

"Neeks?! What's wrong?!" I felt warm arms and the smell of antiseptic and nature encompass me. Will. I grabbed him and pulled him close, basically putting him in my lap. "Are you okay?"

"Please don't leave me." I sobbed. He paused.

"Why would I leave you, Neeks? I love you."

"You weren't here...I thought you ran away from me..." I said quietly, realizing I was wrong. I am so stupid. I know he loves me. Why would he leave me? "I'm sorry."

"No, Neeks. There's no reason to be sorry. I was just helping Hazel and Frank with breakfast. I would never run away from you, darling. You know that, right?" He cupped my face in his hand.

"Y-yeah. I know, but I was just scared. I had a nightmare."

"What about? Do you want to talk about it?"

"About when I f-found out about Bi-Bianca's d-death." He hugged me.

"Just remember in a few weeks you can see her again, right?"

"Yeah. Yeah, you're right." We stayed silent for a while. "I'm sorry for being clingy again." I'm so annoying. He wasn't even gone 2 hours and I started crying. He must hate me. No, he doesn't, he loves you.

"Oh, it's okay, my Angel. I don't mind. I just want you to be happy." He said. "Now, why don't we go have breakfast? I'll stay with you the whole time." I nodded and we left.

A few days later, we were leaving again. Hazel had offered her friend Annabeth to help us build our house, which we immediately accepted since neither of us actually knew what we were doing. She was going to be arriving in a few days at Camp Half-Blood. For now, it would take 2 days to get to the spot with the two of us. I was carrying the wagon again while Will had my bag and backpack. "Knock knock." He said. I rolled my eyes.
