The entire room filled with silence once they realised what had happened. They forgot all about Clock ever since TPOT ended.
Breaking the silence, Ice Cube replied, "Oh, we remember him alright. Maybe a bit too well."
"Wait, what did HE do again?" Bottle asked.
"You forgot?? Lucky you... Clock basically just LEFT. One day, he just packed his bags and went on his merry way.." Ice Cube replied.
To Cloudy, this sounded like another spin on the whole "Taco abandoned us" drama he had heard Book start from over a century ago. "Excuse me, Icy? What did Clock ever do to you?! Sure, he disappeared 70 years ago, but there's no need to throw a fit and fabricate some story over something that happened THAT LONG AGO. Surely you would have grown up from then, but it appears not!"
Cloudy looked at Bottle and saw her watching the whole thing and eating popcorn. He didn't feel like getting mad again, so he sighed and looked back at Ice Cube.
"If clock truly is innocent, then why the hell did he leave for 70. F-CKING. YEARS." Ice cube replied.
Before a huge fight could break out between Icy and Cloudy, Winner had to break it up. "Ok, ok, can you two stop arguing FOR 5 SECONDS?!"
They both went silent.
"Look, we don't know what exactly happened. Maybe Clock was kidnapped, or nobody could recover him," Winner stated. "We truly don't know, so please don't assume the worst."
Cloudy and Ice Cube then looked at each other, not knowing what to say about this.
There was complete silence in the room. Occasionally someone would be about to say something, but then decide against it, and so they would then stop and go silent. Winner then sighed.
"I'm truly disappointed. I'm leaving."
They then left and shut the door behind them, leaving the awkward room in silence.
