Despite them just talking about how brave they are now, Winner was nervous. As they tried to calm themself down, anxiety kept filling their mind with thoughts of every worst scenario possible.
"What if Cloudy disassembles Clock for parts to collect?"
"What if Cloudy tries to power on Clock?
"What if Clock destroys everything?"
"What if... w-what if–"
Cloudy looked at Winner, concern quickly striking through him like lightning.. "A-are you okay?"
"O-oh, I'm fine..." Winner mumbled, shifting their attention to Bottle. As soon as Bottle noticed the smaller fluffy one looking up at her with a sense of anxiety, she excused both of them...
"Just a second, Cloudy!" Bottle said as she gently held Winner's hand and led them into another room nearby. Once they were in, she let go of their hand and they both sat down.
"Winner, do you think we should break the news to Cloudy on the whole incident?" Bottle asked.
"U-uhh... I dunno... I liked it when it was just the two of us. I'm closer to you than Cloudy, and I have no idea what Cloudy would do with Clock..."
Bottle had Winner's problem in sight; Cloudy being added to the "friend group" could be too unpredictable. Once she made this connection, Bottle cleared her throat, figuring that she could try re-assuring them...
"Winner, I'm sure that Cloudy doesn't mean any harm." she said. "Besides, since he's the one who has a collection, he would probably know how to take care of Clock with extra care."
Winner acknowledged Bottle's point, and put it into consideration.
If Cloudy were to learn about this, what would be his reaction? He has a caring side– he might enjoy being around Clock.
Hell, he would actually know what to do, which would be extremely useful– neither of us actually know how to go forward here.
After a bit of thinking, Winner agreed. "We can't hide this situation forever, so might as well."
"Okay, then let's go talk to him!" Bottle nodded with a smile– she almost always smiled, she's Bottle after all. Both objects got up and walked out of the room shortly.
Once the duo slipped back, they saw the cloud from earlier waiting patiently, who also just noticed Winner and Bottle were done talking (or doing whatever, really).
"Soo... what was that about?"
Winner answered; "Well, me and Bottle figured out what happened to Clock."
This intrigued Cloudy.
After so many years, the sudden disappearance of Clock had been a mystery, as only the algebraliens seemingly knew what actually went on behind the scenes.
The day Clock disappeared, it was a cloudy day in Northern Goiky. The sun, obscured by the clouds, came down onto the land in separate rays due to how foggy it was. Still, the temperature was comfortably warm despite the fog and clouds.
Everyone was going about their day as usual. That was, until everyone was called to the hotel rooftop for an important announcement.
Once everyone was up there, Cloudy was trying to find one of his teammates. After pushing his way through the crowd, he finally saw someone. Winner.
"Winner, I finally found you!"
After they noticed Cloudy, they returned the greeting.
"Oh, hey there Cloudy."
