This was the attic.
The attic was a pretty chill place. On one side there was a bookshelf with old DVDs, video games and VHS tapes, some beanbags, an old CRT television with a built-in VHS and DVD player and an old game console connected, a lamp and a comfy rug. On the other side were a bunch of boxes and stuff.
Again, Winner was trying to look for evidence on what happened to Clock, so they headed towards the boxes.
As they walked along, they saw quite a bit of ordinary cardboard boxes labeled with black sharpie, as usual. It wasn't a very odd sight, as Winner had been up here quite a few times to do things like watch some DVDs, play old video games or just to chill with their teammates.
But Winner didn't exactly have any of that in mind right now. In fact, they just wanted to find at least some piece of information that has to do with Clock's sudden disappearance.
Among all the boxes, nothing really stood out, so as much as Winner looked, they couldn't really find much. That was until... something piqued their interest.
Winner noticed a few of the boxes had a gap in them, and were built around something like a wall, as if to hide it. One of the boxes had blue sharpie written on it that read "Patents", and another said "Electronics".
This was intriguing, as Winner hadn't known this before. Of course, this odd structure of boxes was in plain sight, but nobody had cared enough to be inspecting all these boxes before. Although none of the other boxes seemed to have stuff like this written on them, they all appeared to blend in perfectly with all of the other boxes in the background.
They then continued inspecting, and peaked between two of the boxes. They saw what appeared to be a dusty, black curtain thing. It obviously appeared as if it was hiding something. Before they tried moving the boxes out of the way, Winner then stepped back, and thought to themself.
"Is it really worth it, moving these boxes?" Winner thought. "This doesn't seem that interesting."
"And if it's hidden, it's probably for a reason."
Taking this into consideration, Winner was filled with a sense of nervousness, and after thinking for a while, they ultimately decided to wait and then come back to this when they can figure out an answer to whether or not they should move these boxes out of the way.
For now, they didn't have to worry about this. In the meantime, they could just play some games on the TV.
Winner turned on the CRT TV, hearing the high-pitched whine it made and seeing the screen fade in as the TV powered on. They then got the cartridge of Kirby's Super Star for the SNES from the shelf, put it in the game console, and turned on the game. As the console powered on as well, Winner then grabbed a controller and sat down on one of the beanbags.
