Darkness, that's the only thing Sylvia saw when she woke up.
Bound by rope, she knew that they got caught, not knowing how to get out. But where was Serenity? Where were they?
As she started to wiggle around, trying to find Serenity, the same loud voice from the cave rang out, "Don't even try moving or I'll kill this little friend of yours. Don't doubt my power. I have no mercy."
She suddenly became silent, afraid of losing another loved one and started to devise a plan yet as she tried to devise her plan, thoughts clouded her brain such as "We have no one to trust!" "No one by our side." "What's going on?" "What's happening?" and such. The only people that she could trust was people in her distant memories, the days before the dark times, these time. But, they could only be dead as death happened to her kind.
Suddenly, she felt a hard surface that seemed like a large rock hitting her head, causing blood to run down the side of her head. Clutching her head, she rocked herself back and forth, trying to subside the pain, but it didn't help as the rock kept hitting her head.
Then there was silence, but it wasn't dark anymore. A magnetic force pulled them through a swirling object, and only then Sylvia found out what she were in, a cart, one used for mining and saw Serenity, blood pooling at her feet, multiple burns that would scar. Serenity was a human but Serenity and their parents were one of the only humans that knew about hybrids and mythical creatures, such as a demon/human hybrid which all Kantavans were, the same as her, a hybrid.
"Serenity! Serenity!" Sylvia whispered, hoping to arouse her from her sleep. Serenity slowly stirred, making a big noise in the process, making guards in the other cart smack both of our heads multiple times, causing both of them to lose more blood and become unconscious.
Kantavans, ruthless power hungry and dangerous. Soon enough, they would reach their destination. But that meant a very bad thing, the word LEADER. And to Kantavans, that word meant ruthless, dangerous, the scariest one and DEATH.
Besides, their leader, Erebus, a very fitting name as it meant the god of darkness, was a very terrifying person who never showed mercy to his victims, mortal or hybrid, torturing them day after day, starving them until they died.
Serenity and Sylvia did know it, they were heading to their doom. Even if they were unconscious, they could feel that they were pulling thru the portal. To Serenity, it felt like thousands of knives stabbing her as they pulled thru, but not to the Kantavans or Sylvia. To them, it felt like a summer breeze with a needle pricking them every twenty seconds as they were hybrids.
The carts banged on multiple rocks and other surfaces that seemed like glass as a disgusting smell that smelled like manure and throw-up mixed together filled the air. Sylvia and Serenity were thrown around in the cart, banging their heads on the hard metal.
The track that they all were on started sloping down until once again, they skyrocketed up as the Kantavans smiled maliciously. The track they were on would scare most people including people who loved rollercoasters but be glad you are not on that track, because once you are on that track, it means three words and three words only, A Torturing Death.
Serenity's dreams were nightmares, but mostly replayed a scene, one that was supposedly long forgotten.
Memory:
All she saw was blood. Dark, red blood, oozing out of a young girl with raven black hair, bones broken as she inspected the young girl.
Slowly, she scooped the young girl up, wrapping her coat around the girl so she wouldn't lose more blood.
Suddenly, a swarm of oddly shaped figures were running towards her and she knew___[MEMORY ERROR]__girl___[MEMORY ERROR}________________________________DEATH LOOMS
