It was January 4th on a Monday morning, currently 7:45am, a raven-haired boy was peacefully sleeping. The winds were blowing, birds chirped, trees swayed, everything in this moment was just peaceful. Nothing could ruin this peaceful moment.
"GON FREECSS WAKE UP YOUR GOING TO BE LATE FOR YOUR FIRST DAY AT YOUR NEW SCHOOL!!"
Gon just ignored her, putting his head under his pillow to drown out the noise. He was doing this for about 10 minutes until he heard his door get busted open.
"GON FREECSS WAKE UP!"
"H-HUH I'M AWAKE!!"
Gon said while quickly jolting out of his place and looked directly at Aunt Mito.
"Gon, did you even go to bed at the time I specifically told you?!"
"Umm about that I didn't exactly go to sleep last night......"
"Gon I told you to-"
"I know but I guess I'm just sort of scared....."
"Gon, please don't be scared. I know what happened at your last school scared you and traumatized you very badly but I can promise this will be different ok? I'm sure you will have a great time here at this school, it won't be like your old one."
She says as she pulls Gon into an embrace.
"Thanks for everything Aunt Mito.... I feel a little better now."
"That's good to hear now, get ready for school."
"Wait Aunt Mito, what time is it?"
"It's 7:58."
"7:58?!?!?! SCHOOL STARTS AT 8:10, I'M GOING TO BE LATE!"
He quickly screams out as he pulls himself out of the embrace and scurries around his room, grabbing his school clothes. Aunt Mito sighs.
"I'll be downstairs waiting for you."
Aunt Mito says as she heads downstairs. Gon quickly runs to the bathroom and changes into his clothes and gets ready. Once he finishes he runs downstairs and grabs his shoes and starts putting them on as he runs to grab his bag.
"Now I want you to make new friends but please be aware of people before befriending them."
"Yes Aunt Mito."
"Oh and make sure to stay focused in all your classes."
"Oh and if you ever need anything just call m-"
"Yes Aunt Mito I understand everything now I need to get going or I'll be late."
Gon says as he hugs her and runs towards the door.
"Wait Gon don't forget your lu-."
But before Aunt Mito could finish her sentence he was already out the door.
"Lunch...."
She says softly and sighs. Gon continued to run to his new school, it was only 10 minutes away which isn't that far so he didn't worry that much but he hoped to be early so he can get adjusted. He begins to slow down and starts to walk down the trail, looking up at the sky and seeing birds flying around. Gon had always enjoyed nature, just everything about it fascinated him.
"I wish I could stay out here instead of going to school"
He had thought to himself. He continued to walk until he started to see the school in his sight.
"Well there it is.... Hunter High.... Well I guess there's no turning back now."
He pulls out his phone and checks the time
