"But why?"
"Why not, you seem nice and caring. Why wouldn't I want to be friends with you!"
"She's so nice to me….no one has ever treated me like this besides Aunt Mito… Could she actually be different?!"
Gon thought to himself as he looked up at Retz and smiled.
"I would love to be friends with you, Retz!"
"Great!"
Retz cheerfully said as she pulled him into an embrace.
"So does this mean we hang out with each other?"
"OF course! Wait here, give me your phone."
"Ok.."
He responds as he hands Retz his phone. She starts trying something
"Here I added my number into your phone, you can text me whenever you need something."
"Oh umm thank you Retz! I appreciate that."
"You seem kind of surprised Gon."
"It's just I've never had friends before that were nice to me like this so this is kinda weird for me if you understand."
"No way you've never had real friends before?!?!? That's crazy! You're so nice and sweet, who wouldn't want to be friends with you?!"
A blush crept onto Gon's face.
"T-thanks Retz you really are nice."
"Anytime!"
She responded with. Soon after that class began.

The teacher asks. Gon raises his hand
"Oh looks like the new student knows. Go on Gon, tell us!"
"Solid, liquid, gas, and plasma."
"Very good Gon."
The teacher says as she applauds him. He gives her a smile and gets back to writing down his notes.

"So Gon, what's your next class?"
"Oh I have History with Mr. Kite, how about you?"
"Aww I have English with Mr. Satoz. Well I guess I'll see you at lunch, right Gon?"
"Oh yeah definitely see you later Retz!"
Gon says as he walks away to his next class. Retz stands there waving him off.
"Killua I swear to God if you hurt this new kid I'll kill you…"
Retz thinks to herself as she clenches her fist and walks away.

Gon starts waking down to the 2nd floor for his history class.
"Ok so from what Ms. Cheadle told me the classroom should be right down this hall!."
He thinks to himself.
