"I THOUGHT THE flight would've taken longer," Harlym looked around as Jalen opened the door to the private villa they would spend the next week in.

Harlym officially turned 22 today. She didn't want to celebrate since she did a huge thing for her 21st birthday, so Jalen planed a vacation for her instead.

"I'm glad it didn't. The man in front of us smelt like horse sex." Jalen walked their bags to their room, remembering where it was since he spent so long looking at the pictures of the place.

Harlym paused before laughing, "Why do you say the things you do?" She separated from him so she could look around, this was her first time seeing it, Jalen wouldn't let her look at any of the pictures.

Harlym walked outside and looked at the water that surrounded the villa before going back in with a wide smile, "You treat me too well."

Jalen pulled off his hoodie, it was too hot for it now that they were off the plane. "You like it?" He tossed the hoodie down onto the bed before turning around to face her.

"Mhm," She leaned up and kissed corner of his lips once before stepping back and walking off, "The Bahama air is crisp. I could live here forever."

He took Harlym's bag one of the drawers and began to unpack it, "Youn think you would get bored? You never lived outside the city."

"Maybe if I moved with the right person," She sat down as he unpacked her bag, "What are we doin' tonight?"

"Chillin'." He carefully placed her makeup bag atop the dresser. "We swimmin' tomorrow."

Harlym crossed her legs, "Just swimming?"

"Yeah, in the ocean. Seeing the wildlife and shi'."

After unpacking both of their bags and tucking the suitcases away, the two of them put on their swimsuits and went to go sit in the over-water hammock. Jalen laid in it first, "Maya, just get in." He laughed, "It can hold the both of us."

"What if it breaks? I'm not a strong swimmer." She complained, not taking off her coverup yet.

"I am, if it breaks then I'll get you out of the water." He moved over to give her space.

Harlym sat down on the wood and put her feet in the hammock, "Promise?"

"Yeah, I promise." He reached over and grabbed her hand, pulling her into the hammock, the net swung just slightly as Jalen pulled Harlym into his lap.

She took a second to relax but when she did, she rested her back against his chest. "We should've gotten the drinks before comin' out here."

Jalen shook his head, "We don't need drinks."

"That was your way of saying you couldn't order drinks," She tried to joke.

"Dummy, the drinking age in the Bahamas is 18." He flicked her in the forehead, "I was just serious 'bout wanting to be sober tonight."
