The bell just rang and all the kids are starting to pack up and leave

[Mr Clarke]: "Remember, finish chapter 12 and answer 12.3 on the difference between and experiment and other forms of science investigation." he says telling us our homework
[Mr Clarke]: "This will be on the test, which will cover chapters 10-12. It will be multiple choice with an essay section" he says trailing off now Sasha, Dustin, Lucas, & I are the only students left in the classroom
[Me(Mike)]: "Did it come?" I say excitedly
[Mr Clarke]: "Sorry, Kids. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but..." He say's sounding sad
Awww man dammit
[Mr Clarke]: "It came!" He say exactly

We all run into an office with the ham shack
[Lucas]: "Yes!"
[Mr Clarke]: "the Heathkit Ham Shack" he says proudly as I sit in the chair
[Sasha]: "whoa"
[Mr Clarke]: "ain't she a beaut?"
[Dustin]: "I bet you can talk to New York on this thing"
[Mr Clarke]: "Think bigger"
[Lucas]: "California?"
[Mr Clarke]: "Bigger"
[Me]: "Mexico"
[Mr Clarke]: "Even Bigger"
Oh, my god BIGGER!?!
[Sasha]: "Australia?"
Mr Clarke nods
[Lucas]: "Oh, man"
[Sasha]: "That is so cool" We exclaim
[Lucas]: "When Will sees this he's totally gonna blow his shit!" He says excited
[Mr Clarke]: "Lucas!" He scolds
[Lucas]: "Sorry"
Sasha and Dustin chuckle
We start tuning the radio
[Me(in Australian accent)]: Ello, this is Mike Wheeler, president of Hawkins Middle AV Club"
Dustin takes the headset from me
[Lucas]: "What are you doing?"
[Dustin(in Australian accent)]: "Ello, this is Dustin Henderson, and this is the secretary and treasurer of Hawkins Middle AV Club! Do you eat kangaroos for breakfast?"
Me and Sasha Laugh
Sasha takes the headset from Dustin now
[Sasha(in Australian accent)]: "Ello, this is Sasha Wheeler, the Vice President of the Hawkins Middle AV Club!" We all start laughing and Lucas starts to take the headset from Sasha when somebody knocks on the open door. We all look up it's the principal and The police chief

[Principal]: "Sorry to interrupt, but, uh, may I borrow Michael, Sasha, Lucas, and Dustin?"
We all look at them confused and concerned

After the principal and chief hopper requested us they asked us about Will and now we're all trying to tell him what we know .... At the same time

[Hopper]: "Okay, Okay, Okay" He say's annoyed
[Hopper]: "one at a time, all right?"
"You" he points at me
[Hopper]: "you said he takes what?"
[Me]: "Mirkwood"
[Hopper]: "Mirkwood?"
[Me]: "yeah"
[Hopper]: "Have you ever heard of Mirkwood?" He asks his deputy
[Deputy]: "I have not. That sounds made up to me" he responds
[Lucas]: "No, it's from lord of the rings"
[Dustin]: "Well, the Hobbit" He corrects
[Lucas]: "It doesn't matter"
[Dustin]: "he asked!"
[Lucas]: "hE aSkEd!?!" He mocked
[Sasha]: "Oh, my God! Both of you shut the hell up!" She say's annoyed
[Hopper]: "Hey, hey, hey! What'd I just say? One at a damn time. You" he points at Sasha this time
[Sasha]: "Mirkwood, it's a real road. It's just the name that's made up. It's where Cornwallis and Kerley meet" she explains
[Hopper]: "Yeah, all right, I think I know that-"
[Me]: "We can show you, if you want" I tell him
I really want to help find Will I mean he's my best friend
[Hopper]: "I said I know it!!" He says angrily
[Me]: "We can help look"
[Dustin]: "yeah"
Sasha and Lucas nod the 3 of them agreeing
[Hopper]: "No"

[Me]: "come on why not"
[Sasha]: "we can help"
[Dustin]: "but we can help"
[Lucas]: "why not??" We all start talking over each other again
[Hopper]: "No. After school, you are all to go home. Immediately. That means no biking around looking for your friend, no investigating, no nonsense. This isn't some Lord of the Rings book"
This is so stupid we can help
[Dustin]: "the Hobbit" Dustin corrects
[Lucas]: "Shut up!" He say's hitting Dustin
[Sasha]: "Both of you! Shut up!"
[Me]: "guys stop it!" We all start arguing
[Hopper]: "Do I make myself clear?" He asks standing up
"Do I make myself.... Clear?" He says as we all 4 look up at him
[Dustin & Me]: "yes sir"
[Sasha & Lucas]: "Yeah"
We all nod nervously
