It had been now been a full month since Abigail last saw Virgil.

She tried pushing the footballer out of her mind, telling herself there was no need to be so worked up over someone she had only seen a couple times in the shop. They had no actual relationship or friendship, so why should she care so much?

The girl had finally been able to start forgetting about Virgil. She had gone a full shift without thinking about him, and maybe she had finally gotten over her silly crush.

And the day after, almost as if it were fate, the Dutch footballer walked into the store, wearing what Abigail thought was one of his best outfits yet.

He was wearing a simple outfit, a pair of light blue denim jeans with a white shirt, paired with a matching light blue denim jacket.

It was very simple, but Abigail swore he looked like a runway model.

The happiness of seeing Virgil quickly faded, as the girl reminded herself of the fact that he had disappeared for an entire month with no contact or warning whatsoever.

And she made that clear, keeping an emotionless face as he came up to her, rather than the usual warm smile that he received.

"Hey Abi. How are you?"

Abigail didn't look up from the notebook she was writing in. She simply replied with a 'good' and kept writing, not bothering to give the man attention.

Virgil's smile dropped when he realized that she was upset with him. He knew she had a reason to, considering he left for a month and didn't bother to let the girl know.

Abigail finally looked up from the notebook, "Can I help you with something, sir?"

Virgil simply nodded, not knowing what to say. He mumbled 'yellow tulips' under his breath and watched the girl as she rose from her seat and gathered the flowers to create the bouquet.

He left the shop shortly after, upset with himself and the situation that had just played out. He decided he would go to Trent's instead of his own home, for two main reasons- to get advice on how to better his situation and to give his best friend the flowers he had just purchased.

Virgil knew if one person could help him, it would be Trent.
