Valeria stood frozen at the edge of the clearing. She didn't know what to do, how could she? She was only 4, and staring at a scene no four year old should. That's all she could do as the wind picked up the metallic scent of blood and seem to surround her, to envelope her in a blanket of red. She remained rooted as if just staring at the scene before her it'd change. That instead of seeing her friend standing over their other friend... she'd see them sitting down. Laughing and welcoming her with hugs before they went off to explore the woods. Just like usual... like it always was. But today wasn't a usual day, her father let her out of the house to play, on a Wednesday! He never did that, and she snuck off from her older brothers view. Something she only started to do with Griffin's encouragement.

The boy in question had heard the small shaking voice that called out to her friends. If that could even be used to call them that anymore. Slowly turning around the face of anger that was sported on the toddlers face before turned to one of giddy joy after seeing Valeria, his one true friend. "You're here! Come! Come look, see what I did!"

Hazel eyes hesitated and watered as Griffin moved just enough so she could see Serenity. A scream being pulled from her previously silent mouth. There her friend lied her beautiful aqua hair stained a deep red. Scratches all over her face, frozen in fear. Running forwards to her friend, her best friend. As screams and cries passed her lips ignoring the immediate threat. She needed her, she wanted her friend to wake up. She was okay. After all she didn't know what death was, she didn't understand that concept in the slightest. What she did know was that her friend was hurt. Very hurt, and wouldn't wake up. No matter how much she cried for Serenity to wake us. She wouldn't. "Please! Please wake up!"
She sobbed.

"She's dead Valeria!" A chipper voice said from behind her. Dead? That wasnt something that was supposed to happen. They just slept for a long time, like when Griffin killed the ladybug. It'd eventually fly back away. So what was this mention of her friend being dead? She was sleeping. Griffin put her to sleep. Something he was clearly proud of, if not overjoyed.

"Dead? No... no she's sleeping" Valeria whispered turning to look at Griffin. Her own hands covered in blood. Her brother would come, and he'd wake Serenity back up, he'd be able to kiss her boo boos all better. Just like he'd do for her.

"No. Dead's when the person will never wake up again. I made sure she was dead. Now you'll just play with me!"

"Serenity's not waking up? Ever?"

"Never!" He laughed before frowning as a pained scream ripped from Valeria's lips. She was frantically searching the area anything to wake her up. Before it clicked, she could just use her quirk to wake her back up.

As her eyes turned a crimson red, almost the same red that now stained her hands she shook the still girls body. She was turning cold. No longer the warm comfort that Valeria would always seek. "Serenity wake up! Wake up, I'm telling you to wake up. You're not dead" She yelled desperately shaking the lifeless body.

That was when the panic started to truly set in, when her quirk didn't work. She could hear yells and shouts. Turning towards the entrance of the clearing before looking at her crazed friend. No he wasn't her friend. He couldn't be her friend, especially if he hurt her best friend.

"Brother! She's dead! Serenity is Dead" she sobbed rushing towards the voices not even thinking they could be anyone else. That was until she ran straight into an adult legs. Falling back on the ground. Tears continuously flowing from her face as she looked up at the blurry man.

"You weren't supposed to see that darling. Don't worry we'll get you back to your dad." He spoke with such a sweet tone she couldn't help but nod and reach out allowing the male to pick her up. Despite hearing Griffins yells. All she could do was cower away in the strangers arms. As he took her out of the path.

"Valeria!! That's my sister! Let me through! She's innocent!" Darians voice was filtered through the noise surrounding her. The girl now covered in blood and tears looked in the direction immediately trying to get out of this strangers arms to run towards her brother.

"I don't think so little miss. You're coming with us." That sweet tone was gone, he sounded like griffin had. It was scary, she was scarier again. And wanted her brother. She wanted her mom, her dad, and Darian and Sean. They'd keep her safe. Away from the bad guys. That's when she felt a small pinch in her neck. Her already exhausted body slowly giving into sleep. Her outstretched hand falling limp. The last thing she saw was Darian running past these guys with some sort of weapons. Screaming something... she couldn't hear what. It was muffled, that's when it went all dark.

The guard looked at passed out girl before he sighed and tossed her into the back of the truck. She hadn't done anything besides talk to his boss's son. Someone even the guards avoided a toddler or not he had a dark side. That was well hidden from the public.

There was no telling how long had passed before Valeria woke up again, this time she was in what looked almost like where doctors would preform surgeries. She'd seen this on tv and the doctors always helped the people. So then whoever was her doctor would help her. Right? Right.

Sitting up she winced at the cool feeling of metal on her wrists and ankle. Attempting to get off the table proved to be difficult. As she teared up her movements more restricted than she thought.

"Help... please help! I just want to go home" she cried out.
