Chapter 4

3rd POV

Children and their parents stood in front of the academy quietly listening to the Third Hokage's speech. Among them stood Fugaku along with Itachi and Y/n.

Today is the day of their academy orientation. Their first day at the academy. Children of 5 years of age were excited to join the academy and make new friends to learn and play with.

After the Hokage's speech, the newly admitted students were taken inside and divided into classroom. Y/n and Itachi walked to their classroom and sat at one end of a bench.

Other students took whichever seats they wanted or sat with their friends. Those who arrived later took whichever seat were available. The classes were noisy, everyone talking and laughing, except the twins who sat silently in a corner.

The noise died down once their sensei walked in. "Hello students. I am Daikoku Fujioka. Your teacher for the time you will be studying in the academy," the man introduced.

"Hello sensei!," the students greeted him.
"Let's begin introductions then. You from the last bench. We'll start from there," Daikoku-sensei said.

With that students began to introduce themselves. "I am Maruten Akimichi," a chubby guy said, followed by others.

"Alright. The next row starting from the window," Daikoku-sensei nodded looking at the boy.

"Itachi Uchiha," Itachi introduced, before sitting down.

"Y/n Uchiha. We're twins. I hope we can get along," Y/n said pointing besides her, before taking her seat.

"I am Hana Inuzuka! Nice to meet you all," the girl besides Y/n introduced.

After a few more introductions. "I am Saisu Kamano," a boy said.

After few more introduction a black haired girl with Uchiha clan symbol on her clothes stood, "I am Izumi Uchiha."

"Now we are done with the introductions. I am passing out a requirements list. Please make sure to give it to your parents and bring everything written in the list starting tomorrow," Daikoku-sensei instructed.

List of requirements were passed out to each student. "You have free time now. Get to know each other and make friends. That is all for today. Classes start from tomorrow," Daikoku-sensei informed before taking his leave.

"We should go and buy the equipment and scroll later," Y/n turned towards Itachi.

"Yes. We should go get money for it first," Itachi said.

"Dango too!," Y/n smiled and Itachi nodded.

"Hello. Your name is Y/n, right?," the girl besides her, Hana, asked.

Y/n turned to look at her, nodding, "Yes. And you're Hana."

"Oh! You remembered!," Hana said.

"Why wouldn't I remember?," Y/n looked confused.

"Because you looked like you weren't interested in talking to anyone and wouldn't want anyone nearby," Hana replied.

"That Tachi. Y/n doesn't mind," Y/n said, shaking her head.

"Tachi?," Hana asked.

"Tachi," Y/n pointed at Itachi. Itachi looked over.

"Oh. Your twin brother. His name is Itachi, right?," Hana asked.

"Yes. Only I can call him Tachi!," Y/n huffed and Itachi nodded from the side.

"Okay," Hana replied looking at them.

~ Time skip ~

In a hospital room, cries of a baby echoed as the mother held her child in her arms, with her family at her side.

"It's a boy! He's your little brother," the woman said.

Her older children poked at the baby's face gently, the girl giggling with delight. The father took the child in his arms.

"Have you decided on a name?," the woman asked smiling.

"Yes. Sasuke... Uchiha Sasuke," Fugaku replied.

"Oh... It's a fine name, but that's...," Mikoto said.

"Yes, it's Lord Third's father's name. I've already asked Lord Third," Fugaku replied.

"I see," Mikoto responded.

Fugaku smiled at Sasuke, raising him in the air, "Sasuke... We shall raise him to never dishonour his name."

~ Time skip ~

Y/n's POV

Itachi walked on the training ground where the memorial stone was and I followed after him, wondering what he was thinking.

"Hey, hey! Aren't you Itachi and Y/n? The Uchiha twins in my class? Let's play together," a girl asked.

We walking towards her and past her, walking away. The boys were discussing what to play and saw the us going.

"Hey. Are you dissing us? Say something!," one of the boys asked.

"We have shuriken practice now," Itachi replied without turning around.

"Let's practice shuriken too!," another boy voice was heard from behind us.

"No, don't!," the girl shouted. A boy threw something towards us and Itachi dodged it without looking. It was a stone.

Seemingly annoyed all the boys started picking up stones and throwing at the us. We dodged all the attacks, listening to the sounds behind us and locating the positions.

I caught one of the stones thrown at us and threw it towards Itachi. He caught it and spun around throwing it back. It hit the other stones that was coming our way.

With that we simply walked away. "Tachi, that was so cool!," I squeaked.

"You are able to do it too. Don't act like you're not," Itachi said.

"But I'm praising you!," I said.

"Thank you," Itachi smiled at me.

"Mhmm. You're welcome!," I smiled back at him. We walked home to train with Otou-san like we always did.

Y/n: AUTHOR-CHAN! HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO US?!
Author-chan: Sorry. Sorry.
Itachi: You told me we'll see Sasuke soon but then disappeared for so long.
Author-chan: I did some back though 😅
Y/n: You had totally forgotten us!!!
Author-chan: Well.. that's true.
Y/n: Wha-
Author-chan: But you should thank nin-t3nd0u for reminding me.
Itachi & Y/n: Thank you for reminding the author-chan about us!
Author-chan: I'll take my leave then. See you whenever!
* Author-chan disappears *
Y/n: * shouts * Wait! No! We still haven't settled this!
Y/n: * sigh * She always runs away.
Itachi: It's alright. I'm here.
Y/n: * smiles and nods * Let's go play with our cute Sasuke!
Itachi: Yeah. Later everyone!
