Chapter 6- Gender reveal.

Matías' House ; 12:20 pm
Matías' POV

Alex whined as we decorated the backyard. We were currently setting up for the gender reveal party. He kept saying how he didn't want a gender reveal party. He's been saying that for the past hour and it wasn't even that much. All I did was put up a few decorations in the yard and decorated the tables.
[The decorations ↓]

I turned to him, ruffling his hair.
"Lex, it's okay. It's not that much and I didn't spend a lot of money don't worry. Stop stressing." I said, kissing his forehead.
He nodded.

The doorbell rang and Alex waddled to it. He looked through the peephole before opening it.
Charlie,Taylor,Nora,Emerson, José along with Reagan,Naveah,Kenji,Emery, Parker and Hailey walked in greeting Alex and setting their gifts down on the main table.

The group started chatting with each other.
The doorbell rang again and this time I answered it. Alex's dad, Alexander and the twins Alexa and Axel entered setting their gifts down on the main table.

Alex got up to greet them and they hugged and got to talking.
The doorbell rang again and I answered it. There stood Angelo's dad, Kendrick Simons. He started asking for Alex. Alex upon hearing his name excused himself and came to see what the problem was.

Upon seeing Angelo's dad,he let him in. Over the past few weeks, they've gotten close and Mr Simons said he'll take care of Alex and the unborn child and Alex thanked him and told him he's grateful.

We got everyone ready and explained the rules before we started playing the games.
We were currently playing the second to last game.

"Okay so you guys are going to vote which one you think it is. Just put the paper in the bowl." said Alex.

Everyone nodded, running off to put their guesses in the bowls.

The bowl for the boy were filled. Guess everyone wants a boy. I shook my head chuckling at the thought.

"Okay so last game everyone. Matías and I are gonna cut the cake and whatever color is on the inside is the gender." Alex said, walking to the living room.

Everyone nodded, following behind him.

Alex and I cut the cake. He took a bite of the cake and everyone gasped seeing the color which was pink nor blue but both.
"It's twins" he said. Everyone congratulated him.

The rest of the day was a blast. We ate,drank some non alcoholic champagne and talked. Some people left name suggestions on the table where we putted the chart.
Some people left while some stayed. Alex's dad stayed and we talked about the babies and what not. He was actually a pretty chill person. His siblings too.

"Can we stay the night?" asked Mr Erikson.
"Yes u can, you can take the second bedroom to the right." I said. He nodded heading upstairs. The twins stayed back as we talked. They both then turned to me and asked if they can ask me a question. I nodded.

"Do you like our brother?" they asked. Pointing to Alex who was asleep in my lap. I smiled and turned to them.

"More than you'll ever know." I said. They smiled before saying goodnight and heading to bed.

I picked Alex up,holding him carefully. He shifted wrapping his legs around my waist. I rubbed his back and he started snoring again. I put him to bed changing his hoodie since he had shorts on that he liked to sleep in.

I then showered and headed to bed not before kissing his forehead that is.
I pulled the covers over us watching him while smiling.

Yea, I'm gonna take care of you guys. I thought before falling asleep.
