Summer was coming to an end and my dad had just gotten a new job in LA. You would think that's exciting and all, but to me I was practically dying. We live in a small town in Wisconsin where everyone knows everyone. So leaving them is like leaving my big extended family, it's tough. The only good thing that I get out of this is my dad promised me I could live in a beach house with my own boat and jet ski. The hardest part about leaving town is saying good bye to my boyfriend, Brandon. We have been dating for three years and he still hasn't kissed me. Tonight my dad is throwing a huge party and I hope that tonight he finally gives me the dream kiss I've been waiting for. Sure I've gotten the kiss on the cheek but nothing real exciting like what I hope will happen tonight! As I get ready for the party ( which I might say I look fabulous ) I remembered how my mom use to braid my hair right before one of my dads famous parties. I start to tear up and remember how she never did come home from the hospital that night, but instead brought home a baby boy. That also reminded me I needed to go check on Zach, my baby brother. I finish curling my hair and zoom into Zach's room. "Hey Zach what's up how's my little guy doing." I say in a baby voice. " I'm doing fine how about you?" Brandon says. He grabs me around my waist and spins me around then plops me on the floor and gives me my kiss I was waiting for! The thing is it's a lot cooler actually kissing the guy then just waiting for it to happen, waiting for three years. We kiss for about one whole minute and then I kiss him back for one whole minutes. So my total out come was a two minute long kiss! As I stand there in his arms he says " Sorry it took me so long to finally kiss you. " "that's alright. " I say. After Brandon and I get Zach all ready for bed he helps me pick out the dress I should wear for the party. I noticed he picked my no strap and really short dress I decided he deserves to see a little more of me than I normally show people. After the party Brandon took me outside and surprised me with a forever ring. As if I wouldn't I returned his gift with a kiss. One last time we lay on the grass together ( holding hands ) looked up into the stars and wished upon the shooting stars that flew by.
