The Rest of Summer

The rest of summer I finished the house, getting it ready for the school year. I also swam and rid my boat and jet ski to help pass time. I was starting to see dad become lonely and feel over stressed with Zach. So, being me I set him up on a bunch of dating websites. He was a descent looking guy and can be lots of fun, I just hope it will work, there is only so much a 17 year old teen can do! Already in three weeks he had two dates. I was excited for school being a junior and all, but a little nervous because Brandon wouldn't be there to comfort me when I was in need of comfort. Everyday since we left I have called him every night, and am always giving him updates on wants going on here. I made my first friend, her name is Jean. We both already found something in common, shopping. Till school starts we decided go to the mall every Monday to shop for the new school year. She has introduced me to her friends but none of them have clicked as well as me and Jean. I woke up this morning not real excited to go to school, but it was after all my first day. I ate my pop tarts and got dressed in my new outfit Jean picked out for me. She said she would meet me at the Good Land park so we could walk together to school. I kissed my picture of Brandon and walked out the door, ready to take on the day.
