When I woke up I was at a different house and on a couch with someone right next to me screaming at the TV. "What the hell happened?" I groaned while sitting up. Freddy limped over to me. "Careful the breyers got you pretty good" as if on cue to Freddy's sentence I felt a sharp pain on my stomach.

"What did they do?" I lifted my shirt a bit and saw a cut. "I don't know I guess one of them had a knife or something. You also got punched so you've got a black eye, sorry." I pulled my compact mirror out of my bag and looked at my eye... yikes.

"It's not your fault, it's those brothers." from the kitchen Freddy's mom yelled for dinner and I walked with Freddy to the table. "Y/n, I haven't been able to contact your parents so can you text them to make sure they aren't worried?"

"My mom is on a business trip and my dad is out of the picture, my older brother is watching me while my mom is gone until next week I think but he's probably out partying or some shit. I also don't have a phone.." She looked at me apologetically.

As we ate dinner I noticed an empty chair and whispered to Freddy. "Where's Billy?" He put his fork down and turned to me. "He hasn't come back after the fight. No one knows where he is." "Oh."

After dinner I offered to help with the dishes since they fed me and helped after that fight. "Where does this go?" I pulled a plate out of the sink and looked at Freddy who smiled. "Right there" he pointed to a spot and I placed the plate down.

Freddy sighed and started talking, not necessarily to me. "You know, guys, I'm happy to look for Billy. More than happy. But no, you gotta wash the dishes. That's what's more important." Freddy said a tad loud and Victor came in. "What are you gonna do, Freddy, run after him?" Victor said causing me to make a noise as I was trying not to laugh but it was funny.

Freddy glared at me and Victor chuckled then left. "Very funny" Freddy mocked before returning to the dishes. We had started small conversation but then interrupted by a man in a costume holding a sign that said don't scream. Freddy and I both screamed as we stared at this man who was probably high.

"No, I said, don't scream." He said while pointing to the sign. "Uh... Victor? Victor!" Freddy yelled. I had my hand clutched on Freddy's arm out of fear and the man continued. "It's me. It's Billy. You asked me flight or invisibility. I thought that was stupid, but now I look like this and I need your help. Meet me back here after lights-out?" With that the man hid behind the walls and Victor came in.

"Are you guys okay?" I let go of Freddy and we both turned to Victor. "Yeah. Yeah. we're just..." Freddy blanked so I chimed in, "really sad because Billy's gone." Freddy nodded and found the words to say. "And, you know, maybe it's my fault. Maybe I did it. Uh, you know, maybe I snore." I shook my head at Freddy's answer as it was stupid but Victor seemed to believe it.

"Hey, hey, hey. Not your fault, son, all right?" Victor brought him in for a hug. "We'll find him, 'kay? You don't snore that bad." Victor had sniffed Freddy's hair which I don't know why cause that's sorta awkward and weird. "But you kinda smell." I laughed and Freddy went red which meant he was embarrassed so I shut up.
