A/N: I completely made up the UEFA Champions League Cup for the sake of the story, so just bare with me on this one.

~~~
"WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TO THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CUP FINALS! We are so glad you guys are tuning in with us tonight, ready to watch both the men's and women's teams kick off to decide the winner of this year's tournament!"
"Thanks Dom, now let's get into the teams here tonight. Ladies are first on the pitch with our first match being Barcelona vs Inter Milan!"
"You got it Emilio! And later tonight we'll see Manchester United face off against PSG. But right now, we've got the women's teams warming up on the pitch..."
The roar of the stadium was music to Jin's ears as she ripped a shot at goal, slipping it past her keeper's hands by hair. Adrenaline thrummed through her like magic, setting every nerve ablaze with anticipation for the match to come. Everything in her life had led her to this moment and she took a second to bask it all in. Memories of her time with her club team, Washi, the Japanese striker camp, Blue Lock, directed by the intimidating Jinpachi Ego, and the most incredible and rewarding experience of her life: Mateo Velásquez's camp in Spain.
It had been the camp to get her signed to her first professional team at the age of seventeen, Atletico Madrid, for a two year contract. They were two of the best years of her life, until she signed onto the team of her dreams, Barcelona Feminí. And that was when the real work had begun.
Now, at the age of twenty, she was standing in front of a crowd of thousands and being watched by millions.
How many of those watching are like me? She wondered fleetingly, watching the crowd. How many are little girls with big dreams?
She felt the burning of eyes on her then, pulling her from her thoughts. The feeling was so dissimilar from the gazes of the multiplying crowd which slid over her like water. This was different. This felt like fire.
Her own eyes traveled up to the boxes above before settling on the one she knew to hold the PSG team as they waited for their own match. Confusion overtook her features as she made out a silhouette against the glass.
Darkness seemed to seethe around the figure, lashing out, calling to her like an old friend. She felt that same darkness inside responding, the monster that Blue Lock had once helped to craft within her.
I know you, she realized, heart pounding as if desperate to escape the cage within her chest.
Yes, the darkness beyond that fragile window replied. Like calls to like.
Yoichi, Jin's eyes widened in understanding.
That's right, Jin, the monster seemed to say. I've caught up.
