Pete hadn't even been able to answer the question about dog or cats or even look at Mike as the other had tried to gather himself. What had gotten into the vampire didn't even matter as he was not only weirded out but also offended. What was he supposed to do knowing that he'd been asked a question that caught him completely off guard?

A question he didn't even really know the answer too since he hadn't even thought about it. He did a hair flip as he'd turned his gaze to the ground as the other unsuccessfully gathered himself. This was getting too awkward for him especially since he had to be stuck with the other male for who knows how long.

As he was given the keys, he decided he'd sit down for a bit. He didn't know if his parents were going to pick him up or if they were going to call an uber.

Truth be told, he only didn't have his own car because his parents didn't want him dying in a stupid car accident or by any type of bullies or whatever since his parents assumed he got bullied because of how he dressed. They blamed bullying on the way he acted too which pissed him off more than anything.

He gave his parents a call as he began to lock up for the night. He paused as he listened to their annoying questions about how his first day on the job went and simply just answered 'fine' to all of them because if he said otherwise they'd go on asking why it wasn't fine and just be total assholes about it.

Not to mention, they'd also lecture him because he should be 'happy' he got to do something other than go to school and be 'depressed'. But the thing was he wasn't depressed, he just hated the world. He was almost never sad- he just didn't really give two fucks about anything.

As he walked outside after locking up, he saw his parents' car pull up.

Seeing that the vampire dude had left, he let out a relieved sigh as he got into the front seat of the car and strapped himself in. "So like when can I get my own car? Everyone else my age has one." The hair flip goth looked at his mom who was in the driver's seat as he did a hair flip. His mom of course ignored him and just drove off, being mindful of the roads since they were slippery from last night's rain.

The young 16 year old looked ahead at the road and took note of how not slippery it looked. He got that his parents were trying to protect him but goddammit his goth buddies could all drive except for Firkle and it was embarrassing.

All the people in his grade could drive too and hell soon the younger grade will be driving. It just wasn't fair to him that he couldn't drive because his parents thought he was too fucking depressed or whatever. The car ride was silent the entire time and during that time young Pete Thelman just thought of the events that happened today.

Mike being weird asking that question about his sex position...damn. He blushed once more as he thought about it and just leaned his head against the car door. If his mom saw he was flustered over something she'd probably think it was a girl even though he'd never had a girlfriend or expressed any interest in either gender. Again, his mom blamed his depression for the reason he hadn't been able to fall in love and he'd had to explain that being goth didn't mean he was depressed.

Suddenly his mom made a sharp turn to the right which startled the goth teen. He quickly covered his eyes but his mom somehow got the car under control. God- he couldn't do this right now. He pulled out his phone and looked at a number that happened to be Mike's number. He had no idea how he got it. All he knew was that it'd somehow just appeared in his contacts and stuff.

He pulled out his phone and decided to write the number a message but rather than sending it, he just went to sleep and deleted that message. Little did he know that he'd accidentally pressed send rather than delete since the send and delete button were right next to each other.
