Chapter 1: The Disappearance of Will Byers

I sit lounging in my bedroom late at night finishing up my science homework, I'm just waiting for the clock to turn 10 then I have to go pick up my annoying younger brother Dustin up from the wheelers.

I was supposed to be hanging out with Steve, Carol, and Tommy H tonight but my mom didn't let me because "it's a school night," Like ugh I get it ok? But who gives a shit sure it's a school night but when have I ever cared about school I'm not like those annoying kids that try to get perfect grades and are in BaNd like ok cool... your in a little nerd party or whatever I couldn't care less. I just want to get through high school it's gonna be hell after Steve graduates because he had to be a year ahead of me. After Steve leaves I'm gonna be stuck with all the losers like Nancy Wheeler and Barbara Holland.

Speaking of which what does Steve even see in Nancy she seems sooooo annoying tbh. She seems like one of those girls that thinks she's better than everyone just because she gets good grades and shit.

"Y/NNN" omg really " WHAT MOM" she moves over to my doorframe "you have to go get dusty from the wheelers" I get up from my bed grab my moms car keys and make my way out the door "I'll be back soon byyyeeee"

I hop in the car driving down the street with my windows down just listening to the wind blow in my hair. I love driving at night it's peaceful and I can just be in my own world away from all the loud people and pollution.

I get to the house and Dustin's waiting outside with his bike. I yell out the window to him "throw your bike in the trunk loser" he doesn't seem to happy I'm embarrassing him in front of his other friends "ok ok I'm coming jeez don't need to have your panties in a knot." I flip him off for that and as soon as he's in the passenger seat I start flying back down the street to our house, it's not like it matters if I drive slow or not there's no one on the road this late.

When me and dustin get back home I let him get his bike out of the trunk and then I just go straight inside throwing my moms keys on the table and to my room. When i get in there I see mews waiting for me on the bed. I start talking to him in my baby voice "Hi my little sweet mews I hope you weren't waiting for me to go to sleep for too long cause I had to go pick up Dustin."

I get under the covers cuddle mews and go straight to sleep waiting for the next day.

*Time skip*

I wake up to my alarm and get ready for school in my bathroom connected to my bedroom with the basic necessities brushing my teeth etc. I'm wearing a jean skirt a few inches below my ass some black biker shorts under that cause you can never trust skirts and who knows if I want to change out of it. I also have a cute cropped pink tank top with lace around the straps and neckline. I put on some accessories and then my bubblegum pink high top converse and I'm ready to go out the door.

When I get outside Steve's waiting for me in the driveway, he picks me up and takes me to school everyday cause he has a car and I don't. When he say sees me of course he has a comment about my outfit "hey y/n/n looking good but isn't that skirt a bit too short for school?" If only he knew what was short "Stevie boy just be glad I'm not wearing a thong didn't want to put you through that horror this early in the morning." "Well I thank you for that y/n, now let's go." So finally I hop in the passenger seat and we're on our way to hell... oops I mean high school.

We pull up and Carol and Tommy are waiting for us. I go over to Carol so Steve and Tommy can do their guy stuff. When i approach Carol I already see her eyeing my outfit in envy "y/n I really need to just come over and steal your wardrobe one day gurl" "well the day that happens will be the day hell freezes over" it's just silent for a few seconds after that and then we start bursting out with laughter and she swings her arm around me and says "I missed you gurl now let's head to home room" we start to walk away but before we do we yell our goodbyes to the boys.

*Time skip to the end of the school day*

I walk out of school and head over to Steve's car where I see him waiting for me. I hop in the passenger seat and he pulls out of the parking lot.

"soo Stevie can you just drop me off straight home I need to get sleep school was so draining today" "yeah no problem y/n/n I'll drop you off straight there."

Steve pulls up to my house and I wish him goodbye and go inside. I just make my self some microwave Mac n cheese and then go straight to bed ready for the next day unprepared for what was going to happen tomorrow and the days to come.

Authors note: so Im not expecting this to get a lot of reads I honestly just wrote it because I don't see any Steve fanfics like this already and I wanted something for myself like this but I will probably release more chapters if I like my story more than I do rn anyways if this does get views that chapter may be out sooner.
