The Ultima and the Alpha

Chapter 3- Zayn

     Eva turned around to call Zayn and when he came out I noticed his ears... they were hurt. I don't know what came over me but I felt I had to do something to help him. I wanted to stroke his ears and say it's ok you'll be ok. I realized this must be because I'm an Ultima. You remember when I said I controlled all the werewolves well that means I am technically their queen..... so I guess it makes sense that I feel this way but ewwww. That means... never mind I'm not going to think about this it's gonna get too weird for my brain. 
     Anyways Zayn was on the skinny side and his tips were dark blue. Apparently he knew the school really well because he had been on so many tours of the school with Eva. She first showed me or us the auditorium where all the werewolves will go before school starts. I was to say the least shocked. It was in good condition but it was massive. Obviously both Lucas and Lilly have already seen the entire school.

     We started going thought all the hallways and Eva said "-since this is your first year here you will most likely only use this hallway along with the hallways downstairs near the lunch room. Also you might be in the same classes as Zayn."and raises her eyebrows.
     He sighed as said come over here and motioned for me to come over there.

     He said "I know I seem dumb and like I can't take care of myself that's not true and I don't need anyone's help. Also why are your tips purple..?"
     I suddenly got defensive and shot back "Why are your tips dark blue?"

     He sighed  "I didn't mean to offend you I've just never seen someone with purple tips."

      I just walked back to Eva, Lucas, and Lilly and went on with the tour.  As we walked past a room I smelt something weird. I slowed my pace to talk to Zayn and asked "Do you smell that..?" His nose started twitching and I figured he was just smelling.

     He became really tense and told to Eva to stop. He walked back to the room while sniffing suddenly Eva grabbed his arm and pulled him back. Lilly pulled open the door but as soon as it opened Lucas saw something move and yanked Lilly out of the way. Now everyone was tense and on high alert.
    
     We covered our nose and mouths and saw a bloody bat and a knocked out teacher. We used the phone in the room to call the office to let them know what we found and they came rushing to the room and told us to be on our way.

     On the way out I noticed that his tips were dyed red.... Like mine but fake. Was the person trying to find and kill me- the Ultima? I couldn't be too sure but at lunch I was going to talk to Zayn about it to see if we both had similar thoughts.
